Color is not like cap in photo. It is basicly black with a slight bronze metal flake

Bought to use to cover brass fireplace screen. I didn't want black-black, this is the perfect solution. Really dark bronze, almost black but with some brown mixed in. Can see it's not black in sun. Covered beautifully, see online videos to demonstrate best spraying technique.Expensive for a spray can but so far it has been a good choice and worth the $$. Can't remark exactly on durability yet.

This can of high temperature spray paint was described on the Amazon web site as well as on the can as "New Bronze." The paint, however, was not anything resembling bronze or new bronze, but was, instead, black.Update on May 5, 2018: At first I decided to return this spray can to Super Deals In Uxbridge, Massachusetts. The cost of shipment plus the hassle of preparing the package and the paper work for a hazardous product dissuaded me from this course of action. Instead, I used the paint on my tankless water heater. The attached photos of the spray can of "New Bronze" paint and the photo of the painted water heater tell the story, that is, Super Deals and Sand Hill Wholesale & Mfg., Inc. believe that black paint is a "New Bronze" and customers will not know the difference.
