We "cured" it exactly as directed, three burns w/increasing temperature. After about a month it began to blister and peel. Not happy ...

Painted chrysler headers with this stuff. Wonderful color, not at all a brown color. Slight purplish tint. Only a few gripes. I ended up with brush strokes but nothing bad.First gripe, it won't apply over old paint at all. It smears and acts odd unlike any other paint I've ever used. See header flange in pic.Second gripe, painted over clean steel it is almost impossible to tell what is paint and what is bare metal.

I bought this to paint the top of a space heater. So far it looks good. The product does dry quickly so you need to work with a quick pace. I used a trim paint sponge to put the first coat on to get in all the vent holes and then for second coat a foam roller. I am very pleased with the results so far.

This color is nowhere NEAR the sample pictured in the description. This is more of a gun metal grey if anything, really dark. Nothing like what I was looking for. I gave it 2 stars only because other than the horrible color difference, it seems like a quality paint. I heat cured it by using my fireplace for 30 minutes, and was hoping that might magically lighten the color somehow, but nope. Still ridiculously dark. Had to order a different paint from a different brand, in hopes it will adhere to this paint just to fix this nightmare. After my experience, I went back and read reviews of other colors from this brand and it seems to be a major problem, the paints not matching the description.

I used the paint or brass fireplace surround. The color Metallic Brown had very little brown hue to it. It looked more like stainless steel gray. in certain lighting it could look like a very gray taupe. I bought a universal tint in brown and tinted the paint. The color really wanted to hold onto its gray. The finish went on smooth with good brush. Blend into and do not brush back v and forth. Use in a well ventilated area.

Brush on stove paint is different than normal house paint. You must work quickly with it with minimal paint brush strokes. The color is nice. I was going to add another coat, but we decided to leave it as is with a bit of unevenness of coverage, which actually added a little character for a wood burner. The odor is very strong...need plenty of fresh air and do outside if practical.
