This horn purchase was not what I expected. I was hoping for something really loud and a great attention-getter but it’s a bit of a cheap gimmick. The horn is unique, however, workmanship is similar to many dollar store toys. Not much to toot about here.

Not quite as loud as I'd like and you have to use it at a weird angle but it was cheap.

I was a bit confused at first and ended up losing the bladder that came installed. I bought a balloon or two and figured out how to install it myself. Not rocket science. Simple, lightweight and loud. Does take longer to blow than just "pushing a button" in a safety situation.

I purchased this horn to get the attention of power boaters sharing the same water as I in my 24 ft single sculling shell. I had a shrill whistle but it is not loud enough to compete with an engine. The only suggestion I have is for the manufacturer to add a larger eyelet to allow me to attach the horn directly to a lanyard, rather than the thin string it is shipped with. I have to wear the horn to have it accessible while rowing, and prefer a more comfortable, and stronger, strap.
