My year old Muckboots had developed fissures/tiny splits in the rubber around the heel counters. I was concerned this would compromise the waterproofness and also lead to a hole developing. The Muckboot website recommended Stormsure Flexible.It was really easy to apply. Clean the boot first, then abrade the area lightly with sanding paper, clean again, dry and apply the glue. It was a little runny and I had to keep scraping it back in place till it dried. The Accelerator was an excellent addition though as it did dry within an hour. I think without it, the repair would have been quite messy.At first, the repaired areas were quite obvious, darker and glossier than the rest of the boots but after a few wears it's not noticeable. It's saved my boots for another season at least.
