Your cart is empty.INSTA-SET is a catalyst which acts as an accelerator that allows CAs to quickly cure in thick layers by enhancing the alkaline conditions during polymerization. INSTA-SET in a spray bottle is normally used to cure the CA that flows from joints when parts are pressed together. Applying an additional bead of thick CA along a seam and then curing it with INSTA-SET significantly enhances a joints strength. For difficult to bond materials, INSTA-SET can be applied to one surface and CA to the opposite surface. When brought together, they will bond instantly. INSTA-SET is formulated with a strawberry scent and activates CA in 6 to 8 seconds without any degrading of the CAs strength, which can occur with many other accelerators. It is compatible with all surfaces, even clear plastic and white foam.

I've been using Bob Smith products since they started. I used them for my model airplane / helicopter hobby and bought them from my local hobby shop.I bought a bottle of accelerator with the pump top (it looked exactly like this one) then used the pump bottle for the last 20 years (buying more refills). In the whole time period, it never leaked from the cap.A few months ago, I dropped the pump bottle when I was working with some molding and broke the bottle.This bottle from Amazon leaks like there is no seal around the pump.I'm using it now for a crown molding project, and if I have it half full and tilt it too far to get better alignment, it leaks on my hand or the work.The accelerator chemical smells and works like I expect. But the pump on the bottle is super low quality.It may not be genuine.I'll give it 4 stars because the accelerator works.
