Your cart is empty.Vibra-TITE Excel 624 General Purpose Accelerator is an ozone friendly accelerator used for normal curing of cyanoacrylates and to prepare the surface for bonding. Excel 624 is also designed to provide a fast cure of thick deposits of SuperGlues or for post curing excess adhesive outside of the bond line. Vibra-TITE Excel 624 Accelerator prevents absorption of the lower viscosity SuperGlues into porous items. This product is also used for fillet curing and for wire tacking jobs. Product is normally hand applied from the bottle by brushing, wiping or spraying onto parts. Excel 624 Accelerator is an ozone friendly blend of flammable solvents. Care must be taken to avoid flames. Shelf Life is 12 months at 68 degree F unopened. High flammability. Cure speed is dependent on the adhesives viscosity, with the lower viscosity SuperGlues curing faster and the gels slower. Store in cool area out of direct sunlight. 8 oz Bottle.

This item doesn't work well it takes a long time for the glue to set up as if I'd never put any on.

Don't expect to get a full bottle. The contents work fine, but the manufacturer designed a lousy bottle, and they know it. The bottle doesn't seal properly from the factory. The factory knows this because they tried putting teflon tape on the threads. That's an idiot move. Teflon tape won't seal straight threads, especially ones as poorly formed as these. So by the time you get the bottle, some unknown quantity has evaporated away, and if you don't finish the bottle quickly, you will loose even more. Amazon sent me another bottle when I complained, but it was under filled as well. And yes, I did actually measure the contents, not just look in the bottle and assume where it should be filled to.

Works great for the cyanoacrylate products like superglue. This is a must have if you use those types of adhesives.

Vibra makes excellent accelerators for any glue applications. I use this protect often when im doing sketch models in my architecture studio, and for basically gluing anything.I have tested it on Wood, Plastic, Metal, and it holds up very well even through the daily abuse.For those first time buyers be warned that this impact resistant accelerator produces white film instead of clear, if you want the clear one get the other version.

This is a great product at a very low price. Please take note of the manufacturer's comment at their website [...]: "Excel 624 is an isopropanol based accelerator that WILL WHITEN the adhesive's exterior bondline for easy inspection, and will not crack polycarbonate." If you want your cyanoacrylate to have an invisible bond, this is not the accelerator to use. It is purposely designed to whiten super glues, instead use their 623.
