Super flimsy. Lightweight. Not really usable in my opinion

The handle is constantly coming loose. The blade is not very sharp, so weeding in hard dirt is ineffective.

It comes in several pieces. You are expected to screw one end of each piece of tube/handle into the next. The idea is fine, but the execution in super cheapo manufacturing means you'll have to tape the whole thing together to get the pieces to stay attached.Great if you like duct taping stuff together.

I wish they offered a version with a wooden handle. Be careful not to damage plants that you don't want to remove. Clears out weeds in a hurry!

This works great for early weeds. Smooth and fast. Still use a normal hoe if they are bigger weeds. I like this a lot!

Comes in sections so the box is relatively short. Very light weight. Tall people may need all the included sections. Under six feet tall, I didn't need one section. Better to have too many than not enough. The manner of connection "may" be suspect (suspicious) as to how securely they are. It remains to be seen if the sections hold strong to each other over time and use. Time will tell. The business end (the stirrup) appears to work as designed. I've not had this very long. If I run into issues, I'll add to this review but for now, it seems to be as advertised and works as I expected. I've used them before and I couldn't find them locally. A great way to weed when the weeds are still young without much root length. The "blade" part of the stirrup passes just under the surface soil to take the weed out. I prefer to leave the weeds to "digest" into the soil, but I suppose you could pick-up the weeds once up rooted.

I bought the yellow and black version in April and it performed great used in a semi commercial manner, usually 2 or three days a week, sometimes more. When I was using it usually would be 6+ hours in rocky southwestern desert packed land. I used it hard and it lasted 6 months. This silver/chrome model has a much thinner handle of thinner steel and uses plastic "sleeves" to join the sections together. The sections do not screw together as in the black model, they just slide into the plastic sleeves. This handle couldn't handle 3 hours. I gave it two stars because I was able to use the actual hoe end on the old black handle to finish the work day.
