Works while it lasts, but the parts are cheap and not very sturdy. The whole thing shakes and rattles and requires constant tightening and adjusting, mid labor. The screws snapped under the first real strain they experienced, and that was far from the toughest ground in my yard, rendering the whole thing useless (not to mention leaving a few hidden scrap metal lawnmower projectiles in my yard.) Get what you pay for, I guess. I suggest investing in a single piece item from an actual hardware store.

Worked great. I was skeptical but was proven wrong. I did have trouble assembling it. I don’t know if it’s just because the kids was distracting or I didn’t understand the directions so it took a little bit longer than it probably should’ve. But after I got it set up it worked great.

A quality versatile weeding tool that makes quick work without disturbing too much soil. It is adjustable, you can make the pole the size you want when you assemble it. I left one of the pieces off because if you used them all it would make the tool for 7ft giants. Sometimes you need to tighten a section back up, but its not really a problem whatsoever. I have recommended this tool to a family friend.

Just put my together. Only problem I had was attaching D to E, which is the rake. D needs to be position on E that places the rake in a raking position. I did it wrong the first time and after putting on the handles and holding the hoe out in front of me; I could see that the rake was not in the right position to rake the ground. Also, I am 73 years old and I was not strong enough to screw the screws tight enough. Will have my brother in law do it for me. I have not used it yet, but it looks well-made and light weight. Can't wait to use it.

The assembly picture "instructions" and the supplied tools are nearly impossible to use. I struggled to get the head on the attachment and fell prey to the 50-50-90 rule. (if there are two ways to do something, 90% of the time you will choose the wrong one.)I bought a four-tine version last Summer and have loved it. I thought two larger 5 tine version with the longer handle would let me work in places where the smaller one has challenges. (One for the front and one for the side garden.) The small one only required two screws to assemble as the stirrup hoe and rank times are cast as a single piece. This was a nightmare. Not only did I get it wrong the first time, after disassembling and reassembling, I built the second one incorrectly as well. There is no perspective in the illustrations, but even looking as an assemble hoe didn't help.If I had not also bought and assembled a "flying wedge" hoe, I could not have assembled this with the supplied little crescent wrench. The other one had a nice socket wrench that also fit the nuts for this hoe.Other concerns - one of the safety caps for the tines was missing. There are NO extra screws or nuts. Lose one and you'd be up a creek.Haven't had a chance to use it to see if the "floating" stirrup blade is an improvement.

This tool is sturdy. It was easy to assemble. Makes a quick job of weeding and the rake side does an awesome job on pine needles. Highly recommend.
