I have a few Spearhead items, and I love them all! They are well constructed and are holding up to the abuse of my tossing them aside while working in the garden. This tool has a sharp head that offers many uses when working in the garden or yard. The long handle is perfect for keeping you upright and saving your lower back! I have to note that out of three purchases from Spearhead on Amazon, two did not arrive by the date stated when ordering the products.

I’d like to introduce myself. I am a manager for a poison ivy removal company and invasive species removal. When I found this version of the spearhead hoe, I knew right from the start that this tool is for invasive species and poison ivy removal. As I worked in blistering heat on my first day with the spear head hoe, with a field of Japanese mugwort (invasive!) and mixed in with extensive poison ivy, I knew right away how amazing this tool would be for removing roots. All I have to say is, wow…. It was 91F out and I barely broke a sweat with a 6 hour work day. By the end of the day I had 1000 square feet of extensive roots out. The soil was completely clean all thanks to the spear head hoe. The spear head is excellent for getting under and loosening roots. I am talking about 100% root removal. That is a game changer out here in the real world. The rake is great for pulling out loosened roots. The sides are sharp as can be, amazing for leveling out the soil after. I give this tool 5 stars. It is quality. If you are dealing with rigorous root systems, this is the tool. Take care of it, don’t over stress out the hoe and it will treat you so good. Pair it with the long handle spear head shovel and you will be completely unstoppable in the garden and/or rough invasive landscapes. Thank you for making my job as a field manager more interesting. I’m beyond thankful for Spearhead’s innovations to modern day landscaping. Cheers!

I purchased this because of a review in a farm magazine. The farmer said one of his favorite tools was this hoe, so I ordered it. I loved it, my crew loved it, and the weeds hated it. Going to order another so people don't fight over who gets to use it.
