Steeda's adjustable clutch cable quadrant and firewall adjuster kit replaces your worn out factory cable and allow you to adjust clutch engagement without having to crawl under the car. The double hook quadrant allows you to shift quicker with the fast acting pedal ratio. Steeda's qadjustable clutch cable quadrant and firewall adjuster kit is designed from billet aluminum for long lasting strength and durability. The firewall adjuster features a handy locking tab so you can adjust it with one hand and a set-screw keeps the cable in place with no need for re-adjustment. Steeda's double hook clutch quadrant is designed to withstand the hardest of shifts and will not flex like the factory plastic piece. The adjustable cable feature a stainless steel inner cable and low friction Teflon lining along with a high-durometer bushing at the firewall for improved clutch response and cable life.

Gives the clutch pedal a much smoother feel and allows easy adjustment from under the hood. Took less than an hour to install using basic tools and a 2-post automotive lift.

This is a great up grade for any mustang. I got it for my 87 fox body to replace the original cable that was trashed. Fixed some issues I was having with clutch engagement and shifting issues. Great piece. Bit difficult to get the Aluminium quadrate in, but after some cussing and some time it got In There, not the product’s fault. Just the nature of the beast. VERY RECOMMEND UPGRADE.

Still on the 88 5.0 convertible stang. I was told by a mechanic I hope you get a quality clutch cable to replace the one that broke in my car. During installation they were amazed at the quality of the cable.

Bought to replace failed bell-housing adjustable cable. Used the firewall adjuster and the quadrant - tossed the cable and used OEM. Easy to adjust and uses ball detents to hold setting. Wish the black one was in stock, but the blue isn't terrible.
