bought this vacuum cleaner about 6 months, worked fine for about 5 months than started getting louder. Inspected it further and found that the fan blade was causing the loud noise. It seemed to broke loose and I was unable to repair it, It now at a point of burning up, need to purchase another one, not this of course. For the price it sure wasn't worth it.

I love this little guy; good power and pretty quiet for a shopvac. Only negative for me is the hose doesn’t swivel (spin) so it can be a bit awkward at times but not a biggie. Not a problem for me, but the photos are very deceiving on the size of this unit; it is smaller than shown. Check the dimensions to be sure you’re ok with that.

Cutest little vac I ever saw!🤣 It's soo easy to roll around the house and has a LOT of power! All the attachments can be put on board and that makes it very convenient! Never had a shop vac so I couldn't figure out how to make it stop blowing & get it to vacuum, but all I had to do was to remove the foam filter and put the cloth filter back on and for what I needed it for, place the paper filter in its proper place for it to work like a 'dream'. I'm so proud to have it! Thankful it's made by Stanley and delivery was prompt especially considering our world wide concerns right now. Also price was a little high, but since I was able to have it delivered, I was glad to pay the extra to have that convenience. I've always been glad to be an amazon customer, but especially now, during these 'dark' days, I want to say how Very Much I appreciate them and All that they do to bring 'The World' to us, every single day! Love and prayers to all of you as we strive to stay well & healthy, body & soul, till we can rise up & out of this to a brighter day! 🙏💝

I shopped around for a shop-vac for longer than I’d like to admit-online and in stores. I wanted something smaller (3-5 gallon) but still on wheels as it will mostly be used to clean cars in our garage and driveway. This is the perfect size for using to clean cars and an amazing price. I’ve used it a few times already and works great.

Pros: Nice compact size, Hose actually screws on rather than a friction fitting, Powerful enough, Easy to tuck away when not in use..Cons: No where to store attachments, Made with lightweight flimsy metal, and the plastic hose and attachments don't look like they will last very long. Highly overpriced for the quality of the materials it is made with. Replacement bags are very expensive also.

I used the vac to clean out the lint in the clothes dryer & ducts, as well as general basement cleaning. It worked very well. Quite light weight and easy to move around. The plastic parts (extension tubes, etc.) are kind of cheap and light weight, but what else can you expect for the price?

I bought this instead of an expensive vacuum cleaner and it really does the job without being overly noisy. Very pleased and would buy again if needed. Have not tried it with wet stuff. There was only one minor issue the first time I used this and that's that if you go from one level of floor to lower/ higher the casters fall off. Will fix this by gluing them in place. Also, I used it without the disposable dust bag so had to clean the reusable dust filter a couple of times. Have installed disposable dust bag to avoid having to clean the filter every time I vacuum.Have been coping for years with a good for nothing heavy vacuum cleaner that finally gave up the ghost. Today I used this light and easy to manoeuver machine and my carpets, haaalelujah! look almost as good as new. I used the smaller wide nozzle and it goes everywhere on carpets, furniture etc. But if you're wearing long skirts while vacuuming take care or it will suck the skirt up. Also, make sure there's no plastic bags lying around because they'll get sucked up. This nifty little thing is so much better than an expensive and heavy vacuum cleaner. Yay!

Pros:The sound level is quite low.The thing looks great in the garage shop. The power switch is large and positive. The bucket clips are secure and positive and easy to latch and unlatch. The cons (compared to a full size shop vac):Lower suctionHose not as long or flexibleNeed to buy (or make) an adapter to attach to most shop toolsFilter is a bag with a ring that just slips in place. It's more difficult to reinstall after cleaning.Other:The black plastic base is not removable.I bought this on impulse when my 12 gallon Shop Vac went down, not even realizing this had a different size hose. I thought the small stainless steel bucket would make it easier to clean. After making an adapter for my shop tools, I found it is adequate for that type of duty, but I was painfully aware of lower power when manually vacuuming, and the smaller hose meant that 90% of the waste scraps and cutoffs that the full size vac would pickup just clog in this smaller size vacuum.I found that overall, the little filter bag clogs faster and is NOT easier to clean than the drum paper filters which easily install in a full size vac.End of story: this is a great vac, and everything about it is solid. But using it motivated me to fix my full size shop vac.

This is a great product!Pros: This is a very quiet, powerful, and very portable unit. No more hauling a full size 5 gal. vac around the house for all the quick cleanups needed when remodeling. The smaller diameter hose is actually a benefit as it is much easier to use than the large diameter hose used on full size vacs. The attachments store easily, the handle is very useful, and it is lightweight.Cons: I really do not see any...I have used full size 5 gal. vacs for years, and never once thought that I was glad I had one this big! In fact, they were always such a pain to haul around, that I often would simply skip using them. This Stanly is plenty big and powerful for 90% of the cleanups required when remodeling or general house/garage clean-up. (if you need to cleanup large debris- use a broom, then finish whit the vac) I cannot ever imagine ever thinking I wish I had a bigger container! And it is really quiet- about as loud a Dyson! No more screaming vacs!

Great little garage vac. Enough suction for quick clean-ups... very portable. The hose that comes with it is short, I looked all over for a hose extension and couldn't find anything decent that cost less than the whole vacuum. I called Stanley and they said they have a 20 foot hose for this unit for just $15. Great price! I bought it and it is a much better hose... swivels at the unit, much more heavy duty than the one that came with it, accordian style so it acts like a 10' hose for storage but stretches out to 20', plus it has a air adjustment valve so you can reduce the suction if desired. I also picked up replacement filters directly from Stanley, so no need to search around the big-box stores for them.I have used this little guy about once a week, and find that I take care of small chores (like vacuuming out the cars) more frequently because it is so handy. I highly recommend this vac.

seems a little underpowered. Otherwise fine. Construction seems good. Parts fit together. EZ assembly. Kind of a Jr. shop vac. But it doesn't pretend to be more than that. It is okay. Not outstanding, but probably worth the money. It would be a good vac for a senior who tinkers and needs a quick EZ to use solution, small easy to store, pull it out quick to do a little clean-up after a project. Probably not as desirable for a young guy who does big projects that make a lot of mess. Someone who does, for example, a lot of wood projects resulting in lots of dust and other small wood debris, probably would want to buy up to a larger canister and bigger motor. This is probably better for someone who does an occasional project in a condo or apartment.
