best shop vacuum I've ever owned.

Expected disappointment when I saw the small hose diameter, but this unit sucks! Really! Does a great job on my mitre saw, sander and hand planer. And it is almost as quiet as my Festool. Highly recommended

I use it for a dust collection system in my workshop. And for clean up after a day in the shop.

The casters were not included. Now I can't move the vacuum around easily :/

This is an excellent dust extractor. I use it on job sites to control dust and this works better than most other brands. I like the compact size.

I had two Festool cleaned vacuums in my old garage home shop and loved them. I had to sell them when we moved and needed a garage vacuum in our new house. I'm familiar with the quality of Fein power tools and did some research. I decided to spend a little less than the cost of a Festool cleaned and chose the Fein Turbo I. It is very well made and works as advertised. The one complaint I have with the hose storage. The Festool had a "hose garage" on the top of the vacuum which neatly stored the coiled hose. The Fein has no such feature (I've looked for an after-market or Fein hose storage accessory but there is none). So, you have to loop the hose around the stored attachments on top of the unit which is awkward and doesn't hold the hose in place (it's always falling off). Other than that annoyance, it's a good vacuum which you can plug a power tool into to the vac comes on with the tool etc. So, it's ok. But it's not a Festool.

Why’s no horsepower indicated?every plug in shop vac I’ve looked at has horsepower.there’s one review and fein forgot the handles?a German guy with lederhosen and a pint of beer should show up at ur door delivering it personally for the money they are asking.with the hose port being so low, small loose material will clog vacuum when not even full turning a 15 gallon into a 10.really bad design for German engineering.fein make a lot of nice tools but this one is seriously lacking the German stamp of approval.i then purchased a craftsman 6.5 horse and this thugs a beast.it won’t stop sucking until the barrel is full and it’s all the way to the end of the vacuum hose.best purchase I ever made.craftsman still makes some good stuff.
