These are are really great hooks. Very well built and very strong. I have a 4 of these hold up about 400 lbs. Once you have the slack in the rope/cable the clips are easy to unhook. They can get twisted around on the eyehooks I used. I check to make sure they are on the outside of my hooks.

Bought these to clip on to dog leads which usually have a swivel at one end but my dogs jump and twist so much they need one at each end of lead out. So far the leads are not twisting and shortening the length of the lead.

Yes, these were perfect for my home gym. I needed something to allow the bars for my Lat Machine to swivel rather than have the cable twist. These served that purpose. They are strong and secure!
