- Due to the conversion of 1GB=1024MB,display capacity of a 512GB drive usually appears at around 90% on Windows due to algorithms differences in which 1GB is interpreted as 1024MB on Windows and 1000MB on USB drives. MacOS typically shows the full 512GB capacity.
- Therefore, it is normal for the 512GB USB drive displayed on the windows to have a capacity of 476GB.
Stable Reading/Writing Speed

- It will not drop off sharply halfway through the read process even when it reaches its full storage capacity. Let you move high-resolution photos, videos fast and large-capacity files.
Note: The Writing Speed remains stable when the file size of each transfer is less than 1/4 of the remaining usuable capacity. For example, when the USB SSD drive has 600GB available capacity left, you can transfer data less than 150GB at a time, the speed will not drop.

This exceeds all expectations speed and memory capacity, excellent! Solid /sturdy construction that brings peace of mind due to excessive travel. Pleasantly surprised on key holder carrier, found it highly useful for my needs. Finally, the main reason I purchased it ,versatility, the option to use USB-B and USB-C connectors allows me to use it on my Computer and iPad Pro.

Bought this mostly to backup my old Samsung Galaxy S22. Worked flawlessly between android and PC. Very fast and plenty of storage. I was surprised how well it is constructed, all metal and pretty heavy with a tight seal - feels high quality unlike the cheap plastic ones that feel like they'll fall apart.

Sehr schneller Speicher Stick.Wenn man die Anweisung des Herstellers beachtet läuft das Ding wie geschmiert.Beim Speichern immer einen gewissen Puffer auf dem Stick lassen.Beispiel,ich habe 110 GB auf einmal aufgeladen das ging mit Fotos ,Dokumenten,Videos extrem schnell. Man sollte bei solch großen Datenmengen immer 1/3 des Speichers als Puffer haben. 512 GB hat der Stick,das wären dann als Puffer 170 GB.Das gilt aber nur für große Dateien.Kleine Dateien stellen keine Probleme da.Man schreibt sehr oft das der Stick warm wird,was stimmt und ist absolut normal.Hat ja keine Kühlung wie beim PC! Allerdings ist das alles noch handwarm und im Vergleich mit vielen anderen bekannten Anbietern fast identisch.Habe einige und kann das sehr gut beurteilen.Absolut Kaufenpfehlung.Hinzu kommt rundum Metall kein Plastik sehr stabil.H Z

This is the most convenient USB ever. Easily have access to USB-C and USB-A, perfect for any configuration and especially nice for any modern Mac device. The SSK 128GB Dual USB C Flash Drive is a fantastic tool for anyone who needs to move large files quickly and easily between different devices. The design is very considerate, you have a USB and USC portal that fits into a handy carrying case that I can easily add to a lanyard or my key ring. Also, my data seemed to transfer quickly and efficiently. With the recent TikTok ban the flash portal was needed to transfer all of my social media data from one platform to another. Love this purchase.

Tired of those average flash drives... Yes! The ones with limited space and take forever to transfer all of your files? Say no more! With its 128GB to 1TB capacity and USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, which offers read and write rates of up to 460MB and 360MB, respectively, the SSK External Flash Drive completely alters that. It's ideal for on-the-go use because it can be slipped into your pocket or attached to your key chain. This gadget is incredibly versatile, making it ideal for storing and playing documents, videos, and images in one location. Overall, this should provide consistent performance, while some people may discover different to comparable results.Several people have mentioned that this drive becomes hot, but exactly how toasty does it get? In the last two images, I recorded the base temperature 5 minutes after first plugging it in, which was 32°C. Then, I thought it wouldn't have made sense to take recordings of the tempture during the first test, so I ran two full tests with 9 runs per each SEQ (SEQUNTIAL) and RND (RANDOM) read/write of the 16 GB as a drive burner, each test taking about 10 minutes. During the second test, I recorded the temperature at 51°C which was its peak but hovering more around 50°C. However, in just a matter of one to two minutes its already cool due to its Zinc alloy outer coating.If your worried about the dual USB A and C ends not having the same speeds, have no worries! I ran both ends into the back end of my B450-F Gaming Motherboard which has USB A and C 10Gbps ports. The speeds have about 1% deviation in speeds if none at all since these tests aren't perfect, meaning the storage chips are slower than the interface so for complexity reasons in this review I've chosen to keep it simple.For anyone in search of a reliable pocket-sized device that offers both high speeds and large storage capacity, this is definitely the one to consider. Its performance is unmatched, providing fast data transfers and handling demanding tasks with ease. Whether you're backing up large files, running high-capacity tests, or need quick access to your data on the go, this device delivers consistently. There are virtually no alternatives on the market that offer the same combination of speed, durability, and storage in such a compact form. It's a game-changer for those who need portable, high-performance storage.
