Using a silicon pan is so much better than wrapping the pan with foilBy placing the cheesecake pan into the silicon then into a water bath prevents water from seeping into the cake. The crust will stay crunchy.

When cooking with it, it’s leaving a residue and eating my pan edges. My pan had barely been used prior to this.

Worked great. Fits a 9inch springform. I would always create a base out of tin foil for my cheesecakes. Not only was it wasteful, water also seemed to always get in and my crust would be soggy. With this it was easy. Better for the environment and the crust was great.

For anyone who bakes cheesecakes and does water baths this works to solve the problem of using foil around the pan hoping it doesn't leak or create condensation creating soggy crusts. I places a 10 inch pan with at least an inch of room around it so it covers 12 inch pans and less easily. Highly recommend and no more wasted foil.
