Very nice set. I had other sets by various manufacturers purchased years ago. Attempts to use those with a two router setup provided poor results. I measured the bushing OD and was surprised that they varied significantly and none were at the advertised diameter.So I ordered two sets of these Spe Tool bushings. Naturally the first thing I did was measure the bushing diameters. They were spot on! I wish I had found these years ago!

I have never used a bushing guide set of this quality before. Haven’t used them yet but I am so looking forward to it on my next project. They measure out precise. They are in an aluminum case which is not top quality but very adequate. It will keep them together and protected. They rest in foam cut to fit them which is size marked with easy-to-read lettering. I could not ask for better in these. The price point of $59.99 seems to be very good for the quality of the tools.

The first thing I said when I opened the package was "WOW", the second thing I said was "hang on a second". These are packaged in a very nice case with foam inserts to hold everything securely in place and identify the right size. The only problem was with the guy that packed the templates and put them into the wrong slots (see pictures). After switching them around, all are in the correct slots and my OCD has calmed down (not downgrading the review for that). As you can see, all the sizes are right on the money. These even fit into my original Milescraft mounting plate as well as the original on my newer Crafstman (it doesn't fit the vintage Crafstman, but I can easily make a new base plate for it). These templates are a much higher quality than my Milescraft ones, that I am very happy with this product. Overall the quality of the templates and the packaging is very impressive, but if you buy these, be sure to double check that they were inserted into the correct slots.

The SpeTool Brass Router Template Bushing Guide fit very well onto my router plate. I don't envision myself ever needing to get another set of router bushings since these are made so well.

Full disclosure - I received this set for free. But I give honest reviews. --I see that this set of guides sells for around $60 at the time of this writing. IMO, it is a great value at that price. The bushings are well-machined and finished, and very accurate in size. The threads on both the male and female parts are well-cut and smooth, unlike the (much more expensive) set I purchased years ago. The centering pin is straight, and the metal case is a plus.I am an experienced woodworker, admittedly fussy about tool quality, and I would buy another set in a heartbeat if I needed one. I'm interested to see what other products this company makes.Some advice if you are new to using your router with this type of bushing: take care that you check/increase the distance between the collet and the base plate of your router so that the bushing doesn't contact the collet; use the centering cone to adjust the base plate each time you install a bushing guide - it only takes a minute and will save you a lot of anguish!
