15.50 cm. There is a finger guard that allows you to hold the paper in place and protect your fingers
while cutting. Its rubberized feet to keep the trimmer in place while using. Measurement grids
on the trimmer base are in ¼-inch increments and is easy to read in English and Metric units.
The handle locks into place when not in use. The trimmer’s compact size makes it easy to use

I love this paper cutter. The blade is very sharp and making clean cuts. The safety side connection works easily and I have quickly developed an automatic reflex to secure the blade. The markings are clear and accurate and the size is perfect.

I love guillotine trimmers, as they cut cleaner, and the blades do not need replacing. However, my other guillotine trimmers are larger and take up too much space on my desk. This Spellbinders guillotine trimmer is perfect for most of my paper crafting needs, and it takes up much less room! I like that the cutting blade is 8.5 inches long and can be used to cut 11 x 8.5" paper in half. My only issue is that the finger guard can get in the way if I am trying to cut a thin strip and need to hold the paper close to the blade. However, the finger guard is important to prevent accidentally chopping off the fingers, as the blade is very sharp.

I love the size of this guillotine. It’s easy to tuck away to get out quickly for small projects like greeting card making. Works fantastic. It’s great for cutting my letter size paper or card stock in half to work with my sizzex die cutting machine. Love how nice it cuts and even trims cards straight. Is a a keeper!

You can only cut one or two sheets at a time to get a clean cut. Blade is sharp and the markings on the trimmer are very helpful.

The trimmer works well. I’m pleased with it overall. The only problem is that the cutting arm doesn't stay up. It drops down just enough to prevent me from properly butting my paper up at the top.
