This little toy is so cute, and it is all one piece, none of the beads or animals or pieces come apart, so it is safe for baby!

The Speedy Monkey Rocking Beads Maze is a fun toy for toddlers.The toy has three aspects to it, a bead maze, a rocking motion and a small puzzle like section where you can take off and put back together the tree and monkey pieces. I really like how well thought out this toy is and the wooden material it's made from means it's durable and looks great too.The bead maze is just right for babies and toddlers as it has a bit of a challenge in the middle but it's still easy to achieve. The rocking motion adds to the difficulty a little and it's fun to rock the toy back and forth.The wood is strong and smooth which makes it safe for baby's hands. I love all the little details on this toy and you can tell the brand has high quality products. This is the first of this brands products we've tried but I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for any new items as this one is great.

This comes in a sturdy box with a rope handle. Inside the toy is wrapped in a plastic foam sheet. Be warned there are some loose pieces in the box - I was not prepared for this and did drop them and then had to worry about if I'd lost a piece. The loose pieces are the monkey and the tree, it's trunk and the little base the tree stands on. I did lose a piece - the base of the tree - but luckily it fell back into the box.All the pieces are well made with no sharp edges, it's a beautiful wooden toy. I like that there is more than one aspect to the toy - beads on the maze, stacking bricks and rocker. The rocker does make it more of a challenge to move the beads through the maze, without knocking it over - which some younger children may find frustrating. The box says suitable for 1-3 years.One thing I will mention (which I know won't be an issue for all children but will be an issue for some, including my family) is that on the toy I received the top of the tree doesn't fit completely snug to the trunk. It doesn't matter which way round you put the tree on the trunk. One way it fits slightly better but it doesn't sit completely snug against the trunk. (If you look at the picture on the product page it fits snugly, but there is a gap on my toy.)Overall though, beautifully made wooden toy that would make a fabulous gift.
