This is a great puzzle to keep toddlers entertained. It helps with fine motor skills and color recognition. It also is an easy activity to take in the car and on the go. We wish the magnet wand was a little bit stronger as sometimes the balls can get loose when trying to move them to the appropriate destination. Other than that our toddler enjoys playing with this frequently.

It is a great toy to get these little kiddos busy and also helping them learn and boost their motor skills. The magnet feature is an attraction to them since it grabs the metal balls and holds on. Its a lovely activity to keep them busy and also a superb gift! Love it!

A wonderful learning toy for little ones that Grandma can share with them. Grandmas are known to make cookies so she can tell stories about what kind of cookies go in each cookie jar. These magnetic boards are great tools for grandparents to share conversations, talk to the little ones, and tell stories...all while the little one is learning fine motor skills. I love toys that have built in conversation starters

We got this for our daughter's 4th birthday. She was excited to see it, and she has had a lot of fun playing with it. It is a good puzzle for developing fine motor skills. The magnet in the pen is strong enough to hold up to 2 balls. My biggest complaint is that it is difficult to mix up the balls to solve it again in the future, but that might be my perfectionism getting in the way. Overall, I think it is a good puzzle for her

This is a challenging and interesting game for my for my 2 1/2 year old. She likes matching the colored balls to the jars they go in and trying to get them there with the little magnet. At this age she definitely requires my help with it, as understanding how to manipulate the magnet pen is still difficult for her. Already though, she has shown improvement. So it's a game that involves color matching as well as manual dexterity. There's also the potential to learn counting. The graphics are cute, and the inclusion of 10 different colors expands her color world a little bit.The game seems pretty durable. I don't think it will get broken soon. The main frustration I see with this game is that the balls get clogged up and stuck in the passageways. Especially when you first start the game and the little balls are everywhere, you need to get them all to the large lower receptacle so that the game may begin. This is very frustrating, as the little passages the balls travel through are the perfect size that they get stuck two at a time. Poor design there. And frustrating for the adults. It took me 5 minutes and some grumbling just to get the little balls where they needed to be to start, while my daughter sat impatiently and my wife rolled her eyes in the next room.Nonetheless my daughter gives it at least one thumb up, if not two.UPDATE: I upgraded the rating from 3 to 4 stars because, despite the design flaws, my 2 1/2 year old enjoys playing with this game.

I got this for my granddaughter to play with on a trip we are taking together. She has been playing with it and the idea of it is great. I love how she has to use problem solving skills to move the incorrect colors out of the way and has to pick up a ball if she drops it, and find the correct colors and match. The problem is that several of the color holders don't keep the balls contained. They must be slanted a little because the balls roll right back out of the tops on their own. Sort of frustrating, especially for a young child who just worked hard to get it into the right spot. The magnet is not very strong and the "pen" has to be directly straight up and down to catch the balls. I wish the magnet was much stronger and on the entire end of the "pen" so when little hands tilt it, the ball doesn't drop. The final problem is the edges are not secured all the way around it. It seems like this will cause the piece of plastic holding everything into place to easily come off either with it being pulled (little fingers prying) or getting caught. Having the little balls with magnets potentially be able to escape through the unsecured areas makes me nervous since we also have a 1 year old around it, too. I do like this is a wooden base toy.
