Speedminton - Anywhere, Anytime
Speedminton combines the best of tennis, racketball and badminton in one game (Sport is called Crossminton). It can be played anywhere and on most surfaces. The game is easy to set up in minutes because no net is required.
The Speeders (birdies) are intended for both indoor and outdoor use. They are shorter, heavier, narrower and more durable than traditional badminton shuttlecocks. Therefore they fly more stable in wind, are water -deviating and can glow in the dark with a light stick (Speedlights are available from Speedminton).
The game is easy to learn and is suitable for players of all ages. It can be played in singles or doubles.

The Speeders
The set contains 3 balls (Speeders):
Fun Speeder (1): Perfect for beginners and the game at short distances
Match Speeder (1): The official competition ball of the ICO (International Crossminton Organization).
Night Speeder (1): The Night Speeder enables to play in the dark.
Night Speeder and Speedlights included
The Night Speeder, together with a Speedlight , are made for playing in the dawn and darkness: simply put a Speedlight (light stick) into the transluscent cap of the night speeder and off you go. 2 Speedlights are included in the set.
Play indoor and outdoor
Speedminton was developed as an easy to set up outdoor game. Unlike Badminton, you can play up to 4 BF wind strength with the unique Speedminton Speeder and wind ring (included in the set).
The Easy Court (not included in this set)
The Easy Court Basic is a portable court made of blue nylon including 8 metal pegs for safe attachment to lawn.
The field consists of two squares 18 x 18 feet with a distance of 42 feet in between.
The court can be set up up by one or two players within minutes.
Speeder - Made in Germany
The original Speedminton Speeders are produced sustainably in Germany using recyclable materials. Speedminton Speeders are the only birdies approved for official tournaments. When playing, the balls creates a whistle noise due to their speed, which increases the fun.
Get and stay in shape
Playing Speedminton trains the whole body, the cardiovascular system and the hand-eye coordination. You can burn up to 700 calories per hour while having fun.
How to play
The court - The court consists of two squares, each with a size of 18 x 18 feet. Speedminton is played without a net. The squares are set up in a distance of 42 feet.
Service - each point starts with an underhand serve (one serve per point). Players change serve every 3 points (switch every point if a score of 15:15 is reached).
How to score - one point is obtained(won) when the Speeder(birdie) touches the ground within the opposite square, If the Speeder hits the ground outside of the opposite square it's a point for the opponent.
Counting - Speedminton sets are played until one player reaches 16 points (need to lead by two points). A player needs to win two sets to win a game. Change sides after each set.

Absolutely fantastic, deserves more than 5 star for the quality and fun that comes along with it. It's combination of badminton and tennis because of the long range of the birdies .Designed outdoor places such as beaches and parks where lot's of space is needed. Can be played in windy conditions also. What a fun to play this sport pure fun n magic

These have become my fiancee and my favorite travel/backyard game. All that's needed are the rackets and the speeders. The speeders are incredibly satisfying to hit (they whistle while they fly!) The rackets are light and sturdy. The bag they come in is convenient (fits both rackets and had a shoulder strap.)The 3 speeders that come with set are the perfect combination for starting out. The "fun speeder" (shortest range) is good for smaller spaces and practicing aim. The "match" speeder has great range and is extremely satisfying to hit. (It flies far and whistles a bit when you hit it well.) The "night" speeder seemed like a silly gimmick at first, but it's great when you're trying to play at twilight. (It's impossible to lose track of a glowing speeder.) Even if you don't use the night speeder's glow sticks, it works well as a backup match speeder. The "wind ring" is good for its advertised purpose (stabilizing the speeder during windy conditions), but it's also good for adding a bit of range to the fun speeder. (On its own, the fun speeder can be tricky since there's less range/time to react.)The rackets are great quality and well worth the price tag. The frame is light and sturdy. They're well-strung. The handles are extremely comfortable and have weathered copious amounts of hand sweat so far.This is a great set and a fun game. The best part is how easy it is to say, "Hey, want to play a few rounds?" Just grab the rackets and a speeder, head outside, and you're ready to go!

First time i play this Speedminton game, it’s almost like badminton on steroid!!! Overall extremely happy to have purchased this set to give it a try, i played with the kids and we all loved it. It’s good value, the product is well designed and made, was surprised to see that the 3 birdies included in the kit are Made in Germany. There are also 2 mini glow sticks provided to enable playing in low light condition. Note the 3 birdies are all weighted differently.So far, let’s hope this will bring the kids more outside and less time in front of their computers…

I live in area where normally there is a medium breeze hence Badminton was out of equation. Got this speedminton instead and its super fun. Value for money.You can attach the wind ring on the back of the speeder and it works out well where there is mild to medium breeze. The most fun part is can play at night as well by connecting speed lights to the speeder.Works for all age however its more fun for 8 and above.

These need space to play. Think of about the size of a tennis court, but skinnier. because basically that’s how it is played minus the net. It’s really fun giving them a good wack and the birdies and rackets are top notch. They fly true and don’t go shooting off in abstract directions.A big hit with kids and adults. Love it!

Great to play even with wind!. The racket is little bit heavy it would have been great if they can provide a lighter version of it. However its totally worth buying this set to play.

Just FYI, we are 65 and 63 years old so may not reflect the same view as those much younger than us. Some have noted that they enjoy using without a net. We tried with and without net and much more enjoy using with our badminton net. We were able to volley, back and forth, much longer and hit with more force with these "Speedminton" rackets than with standard badminton rackets. It was just a more confident swing and volly with these. Even though we both felt that we were hitting with more force, we did not notice that the birdie went any further. It was just a more confident hit and felt more tennis like in the swing. We very much like these.

Everything is good quality. Racquets, carry case, and included shuttles. I’d recommend this over a traditional badminton set.

Use in driveway. Kids and adults. I used to play with my tennis buddy while waiting for our court. Great way to start kids to enjoy ball and racquet sports. Start a new Serena or Jimmy C.

We are enjoying Speedminton a lot, the quality of these products is far superior to the typical badminton products. What you need to know… this set S600 is a full sized set and the birdies are smaller and much harder than normal badminton birdies. They will go a lot further it comes with different kinds of birdies that will go from 40’ to 80’.If you do not have 40’, the “fun” set is a junior set. It comes with the slowest birdie the helicopter and undersized racquets. The birdie starts of fast but slows dramatically within 20’.We have been playing at night with the included glow stick that goes into the birdie. You can also get 100 light sticks for under $10 and use a few to make glowing court lines. (glowsticks vivii 100)
