This fan is wonderful. It is well made and moves a LOT of air.My old sports car has a small radiator, thus needed a small fan. This Spal fit the bill.I had to fabricate a mounting bracket, but this is to be expected. No hardware is included, other than a plug on the cord (which is labelled for + and -).

I ordered a new unused fan. Got this today and clearly it's been mounted and repackaged according to the pictures.

I wish it was under $50 or at least included mounting hardware a $65 but it didn't. It is a pusher fan and comes set as a pusher fan with blue wire as positive and black negative, no meed to reverse polarity. fan blades are set to pusher fan mode out of the box, no need to mess with that either. You can teat the fan to confirm air flow by putting s piece oof paper on the cages side of the fan to see if it pushes air or pulls it. Good build quality, a lil heavy for its size but not too heavy. Used with a mishimoto 12 inc both on 12 gauge wire with 40amp relay and 30amp inline fuse in a manual switch. Ran for hours in 90F temps slow crawling in AZ to cool my tras cooler (Spal) and ac condenser (Mishi) and had no issues. Very effective fan for an 8 incher. Dont get the cheap $20 stuff, it wont last. Get a Spal or a quality product, you will be happy and wont be redoing your installation work regularly,

This brand is awesome. Don't believe them cheap brands claiming they move all this air it's a lie I know iv been threw 3 different ones from 3 dir companies. Spal is the best iv used they jst sound like there moving some air and trust me they are .I wish I would of done this fan a long time ago

I bought this fan to replace a generic fan of the same size that only lasted a few months. Shouldn't have wasted my time with the generic one. Btw, the generic sells for $20-30 everywhere under all sorts of different names. The difference in quality and performance is night and day. The Spal fan is quieter, moves more air, has less vibration, and has a lower profile.Let me say, I'm a serious car guy and have been for over 20 years. I went to school for it, and have worked professionally at the dealership level. I've used every name brand electric fan made (some are good quality) and exactly one crappy generic fan (won't do that again) and I'm 100% sold on Spal fans. Next electric fan I need to buy will be this brand no matter what size. The quality and performance of these fans are impressive. Keep up the good work Spal!

Tried mishimoto fan and all I can say is SPALis the Best.,High Quality Materials. Running this as a condenser fan for my 2012 Toyota Prado VX in the Philippines. Made my AC 2x colder.

Late model air-cooled H-D motorcycles run incredibly hot because of mandated EPA air/fuel ratios and catalytic converters in the exhaust. The engine monitoring system is designed to cut off ignition to the back cyclinder when the engine is approaching overheat. I looked for radiator cooling fans as a solution for keeping the engine cool when idling, but most were too big and were for car radators. This fan is the perfect solution. It has a water-resistant motor and plenty of CFM. I removed the horn assembly and replaced it with this fan, mounted to an ⅛-in thick steel frame, mounted to the horn attachment point. I use a mini 12V relay through a switch to activate the fan when idling at stop lights or working on the bike with the engine running. The cyclinder heads never get above 220 degrees and I don't have to worry about the engine overheating and due to the quality of the Spal fan, I don't have to worry about it getting wet, from rain or being washed. Great fan!
