While in the motion of removing a bolt the ratchet will reverse and screw it back in.frustrating!!

Very fast ratchet, very quiet, actually kind of powerful and the reaction less mechanism is awesome. However just now it stopped ratcheting in forward, reverse still works but forward is shot. I've oiled it daily with snapon air tool oil, it's lasted about 5 months of daily hardcore use.I think if sp air is willing to rebuild or replace it, or maybe my Mac guy can send it in for me at little to no charge I'd definitely give this 5 stars.

Crazy quiet free spin compared to the cheap craft - an air ratchet (non impact) that came as part of a kit I initially bought years ago when first getting into air tools. Over 3 inches shorter. Way faster for sure as demonstrated in the videos online... May cost quite a bit for an air impact ratchet but I know I will be able to use this more compared to my old one that is literally sitting in the trash now. I combined my SP with a swivel air connect and can already tell in trying it out that I will get tons of use out of it. This ratchet will save so much time working on anything I do, and time is money... Will probably pay for itself the first job I finish way ahead of schedule.

Great little air tool. Surprising torque for a 1/4 inch air impact ratchet. Excellent machine work on this tool. Speeds up transmision pan removal, head cover work, anything where you need fast quick torque. Put a 360 attachment at hose connection makes it even better. Love this tool.

I love the small size and the speed of this unit. The only disappointment is the max torque of the wrench isn't anywhere near 50 pounds. I haven't measured it exactly yet, but I find I have to break loose bolts whenever I am loosening, and have to give an extra half turn or so when tightening them. My full size 3/8 air rachet has much more torque, but is way slower and more cumbersome. I just wish the mini hammer had as much torque as it says it does.

Never been a fan of air ratchet. There slow and loud. When I seen this one I had to give it a try. I love it. It's small enough to to get in a lot of places on new cars that normally you would need to use a regular ratchet. Feels well made. The fact that it's reaction-less and won't jam your hand in to near by metal is a big plus along with how fast and quit it is. I find myself reaching for this every time I work on a car now and shipping was fast. It came four days earlier then expected which was awesome. Thanks Amazon and thanks sp air for a great tool.

This thing is actually an impact air ratchet. It will tighten (or loosen) most 6 to 12 mm bolts properly without using bigger/longer wrenches and ratchets. It's got so much power that you must make sure to keep pushing the ratchet/socket onto the head of the bolt or it will pop off.Speeds up jobs in cramped areas. High quality construction,..so far no problems.UPDATE,..it's now been 9 months since purchase and 1/4" square shank that sockets fit on to,.. broke off.I see the same thing happened to another buyer. Evidently quality is not what I originally thought so now must waste time trying to get it warranteed. Would still like to find a quality version of this type ratchet.

i like the fact that it is very fast makes removing bolts a lot quicker which speeds up working on vehicles when your a mechanic also like the impact feature its not as strong as my 3/8 ratchet but i like the compactness of it so i can get in tight areas. i have had it for just over a year the 1/4 inch socket adapter broke off about 4 months after i got it i sent it in and they fixed it for free now about literally 2 weeks out of the year warranty the case split in half so now I'm out of a 1/4 inch ratchet and before the case broke the trigger would get stuck and sometimes keep it on
