My area is almost bortle 6 so light pollution is pretty noticable, I tried this on my homemade 131mm refractor and my 114mm Newtonian reflector, neither showed noticable reduction in any type of glow, light pollution or otherwise and I did test it on nights with and without moon as well as just after sunset as well as midnight but noticed no difference in either scope.I probably should have just grabbed a Barlow instead considering it would have been more useful for its price.

This lens was perfect for blocking out light pollution in order to see fine details like craters on the moon. It does produce a purplish filter effect but, can be easily be fixed in any photo editing app or program.

After trying a cheap, generic, all plastic filter that I was completely unhappy with, I didn't have high expectations for this one given its price point. However, I am impressed with the quality. I wasn't expecting a top of the line product so this is a good filter for my needs. I was able to see the full moon after the eclipse without it being washed out and too bright to see details.

Works just fine for the price. Helps with the moon and planets, but not so much with the Lagoon nebula. I have 3 other Moon and Skyglow filters, so I can pre-attach them to multiple eyepieces before taking my scope out. They're cheap enough to buy more than one.

Sky glow...no; I got it to block out some of the light pollution, didn't even work. Not sure what it does for the moon, I have two and use them periodically. It is kind of like the UV filter on a camera, it really doesn't do that much.

Definitely helps improve contrast when viewing the moon.

I am certainly no expert, but when I did a test with and without, it did seem to clarify some of the lines around the Orion nebula. It also darkened the sky around Jupiter without too badly dimming the planet's colors or brightness. The price was right compared with the Baader and Orion options, which appear to be pretty similar.
