I recently tried this fishing line and was genuinely impressed. The line was strong right out of the box and spooled effortlessly onto my reel without any tangles or memory issues. It handled tension beautifully during casts and retrievals, giving me confidence even when reeling in heavier catches.Whether you're a weekend angler or a seasoned pro, this line offers the kind of reliability you want when you're out on the water. Smooth, durable, and easy to work with—definitely a keeper in my tackle box. 🎣

Good stuff it's just as good as other brands of braid I have used. It does have a really nice smooth finish to it either due to the 8 strands or the coating they claim to finish it with. The color is nice and bright blue. Good value for the price I would definitely use it again in the future.

Good product. No fraying. The color is bright. Has a good stretch. No snapping or breaking. Doesn’t stay coiled up either so it makes casting a breeze. Nice thickness to it. Holds good when fish pull no issues.

Adequate for most of my needs. The length is fine, the strength of the line seems to be good enough for smaller fish and maybe to battle a carp or two. Always good to have spare line around and this pack works as a primary or backup for casual uses.

I normally use braided line for steelhead fishing, and just spool fluorocarbon when fishing for bass, trout, or panfish. However this season I've been having some trouble with my line spiraling and bird nesting, so I decided to pick up this braided line to see if this helps. I knew braided line was thin, but man, you could thread a needle with this thing! It was really impressive! So I have a this running to 10lb leader with a blood knot to help me out on the lake. I haven't been on the water just yet, but I intend to test this out this week. If anything unexpected happens I'll be sure to update this review. But so far it looks nice on my reel. It kind of reminds me of a 4th of July / alcomic book hero vibe. Not something I was intentionally going for, but it makes my setup pop!

I recently started acquiring new fishing equipment. I therefore needed new fishing line. I was not familiar with the “Braided Fishing Line” as I have always used the monofilament lines in the past. I did some online research to learn about the differences between the two types of fishing lines.Braided fishing lines are much thinner. I noticed this immediately as I opened the spool with this #1.5 line. It is supposed to be stronger, but I had no way to test that contention. This line is lighter, so I should be able to cast longer distances. Since it is so much thinner, I can get more of onto my fishing reel. The only down side I see is that this line may not be as abrasion resistant as the monofilament type. I tested this by rubbing a section of string along the back side of a pair of scissors. The string cut fairly easily. This could mean that this line could be cut more easily if rubbing against a sharp rock or object in the water. Other than that one possible down side, there are lots of advantages to using this braided fishing line. I look forward to getting out there.I also got some #.8 fishing line because I wanted a lighter line to work with for certain fishing environments. I was unfamiliar with braided line as I had always used monofilament line in the past. Braided line is thinner than monofilament line, and this line is very thin. There are a number of advantages to using a thinner line, but for me this is just too thin. Braided line should be stronger than monofilament line, but it is less abrasion resistant. This means that this line could be cut more easily when rubbing against a sharp rock in the water. My personal preference in the future would be to get much thicker braided line. It will be easier to work with. I personally do not have a particular need for a line this thin.

I ordered the mysterious #0.8 size, and it turned out to be 14lb test 8 strand PE braid, in bright lime green.I'm not familiar with some of these tensile strength ratings, nor what #0.8 means. In the USA the only thing we know is pounds of tensile strength. This brand is very fine, and super smooth. It's so super thin considering that it's 14lb rated. I don't doubt it at all either.I traditionally use braid for my BIGGER line conditions, like 50lb or 60lb, and generally use MONO in the sub 15lb category. BUT, it's been a great experience using the lower strength lines, since you can get away with a much stronger rating for a smaller light rod setup. This 14lb is what I'm using on what I'd normally run 6lb mono. I can easily cast at least 20-30% further with this braid vs. mono, and it's literally twice as strong. Do yourself a favor if you haven't switched to braid for your light tackle, and this one would be a great choice!

I got about 500 feet of acceptable 28lb test line for less than $10. Since it's braid it has lower stretch, but better abrasion resistance. It's durable and seems to take a knot well, though that will depend on which knot you use. To be perfectly honest, you're unlikely to see this line on the bass pro tour. To me that's a bonus: I'm not about paying a lot of money to buy sponsorships and boats for other fishermen. I just wanna go fishing, and this line lets me do that at a reasonable price for decent quality. If the price and the quality stay the same I'll buy it again.
