HIgh Abrasion-Resistance
One of the best advantages of Kevlar line. It helps avoid many unexpected string snaps which happen a lot in binding, fastening objects or uses near sharp edges. In addition to "resistance" properties, Kevlar line is also highly resistant to abrasion, to chemicals (especially acids, and alkalis.)
Flame Resistant-Capable to Work at High Temperaturel
Kevlar doesn't melt and only decomposes at relatively high temperature, which makes it the common and popular material in firefighter PPE equipment.
Toughness - Yields High Strength in Small Size
High tensile strength cordages in lightweight, 10X greater than steel on an equal weight basis. A roll of 100ft 700lb black kevlar only weighs 3.38Oz, light and compact to carry on person in the wild.
Low Stretch, Least Creep
Stretch annoys much in applications like stringing hammocks, kite flying control, especially in control of stunt kite or traction kite. Kevlar cords have extremely low stretch and don't create creep even after long time loading.

How to seal the end?
Kevlar doesn't melt and self-sealed like nylon or polyester.
After cutting, use tape to seal the end or tie a knot.

Strong and durable. Value for money. Only issue is the open strands after you cut it but it can be overcome by applying glue to keep them together.

It appears to be of superior strength , yet very supple! I intend to use it to replace strained, brittle, and frayed brass weight cables on my weights only regulator clock!

I use cordage often. I'm proficient at tying knots. I'm really glad I found this product. I'm planning on using it to sew leather. It's Tough,it's, hopefully, going to be able to stand up to harsh ,regular exposure. One thing is sure,nobody is going to grab it and pull hard enough to break it. It should make a really good leader for fishing .

False advertising! I bought this to suspend a cooking grill from a tripod while winter camping. The cord burnt and caught fire after holding a regular bic an inch away. Waste of money!

Nonostante qualcuno abbia avanzato delle perplessità sulla "autenticità" del prodotto, credo di poter affermare che sicuramente NON è plastica: infatti se provate a dar fuoco al cordoncino con un'accendino, questo si estingue...Per me prodotto magari di non primissima qualità, ma sicuramente buono. Ottimo per l'uso di cui avevo bisogno.
