Works like a charm. I have a very large yard and use these quite often. I should have bought more. And I probably will.

These are well made and are solid brass, unlike many other that are made of anodized aluminum and don't last. They are easy to install and don't leak. Why spend 3 or 4 times more for a new hose when you can easily and cost effectively fix it.

3/4” worked great. They rounded off the sharp edges of the hose clamp strap so you don’t have to worry about slicing yourself. Very nice mod.

These look to be good quality with quality hose clamps, and sizes were as advertised.I used one to fix the end of a 3/4" hose that is under high water pressure (80 - 120 psi) when the end valve is shut, and it has lasted through this summer with no leaks and no rust or corrosion so far.

Successfully repaired two 3/4" rubber hoses with these, one leaking at the hose-bib connector and the other from a puncture. It was easier than expected to make the repairs, and both are now watertight.PROS:- Quick and easy. I cut the leaky part of the hose with a utility knife, sprayed the brass connector with WD-40, and inserted it into the hose. Then I tightened the stainless-steel clamp with a screwdriver. Lastly, based on other reviews, I also swabbed anti-seize paste on the threaded ends so that I wouldn't have trouble disconnecting them in the future. Once I learned the process on the first hose, the second repair took just 5 minutes.- Thoughtfully designed. I bought another "Amazon's Choice" repair kit along with this one, and compared them. They were similar in quality of materials and build, but this one had two advantages: 1) the steel clamps don't have a protruding end that can scratch your hand when using the repaired hose; and 2) the rings on the brass connector are more numerous and sharper-angled, which provides, I think, a tighter, more leakproof seal.- Low price. Way less expensive than replacing the hose.CONS:- None that I've noticed so far.

These are solid brass. They work as intended. Two things can be improved. The male end nipple where a spray nozzle would connect is a little too short. I had to double up on the rubber washers. Also, it states 5/8 inch brass but seems to run a little smaller. I will have to wrap it with Teflon tape. Hopefully, the Teflon tape will work. Cause It leaks at the new male connecter when the water is on. That's with a spray-nozzle connected. No, it isn't a hole in the hose cause it comes out above the stainless steel clamp. My garden hose is 5/8 that I am connecting the end pieces I have a female part from a different manufacture connected to the house faucet and it doesn't leak and the nipple was more difficult to fit into the hose. MI only tightened down with a screwdriver. Edit: 8/23/2021 I tightened the stainless steel hose clamp with a socket wrench. it's not leaking. Each set comes with an extra rubber washer.

I don't think the company selling these has any clue what they are selling based on the descriptions. The threaded side is the same on both the 5/8 and 3/4 which it should be, but their 5/8 version states 5/8 hose barb, which is incorrect. Anyway, both of these fit normal garden hose threaded (GHT, MHT, FHT) faucets and connections, so that part is fine, just incorrectly described. The barbed side is where we have the problems. The 3/4 is definitely too small for 3/4 hoses and the 5/8 is definitely too small for 5/8in hoses. I've tried with several hoses of each size, all different brands, and the barbs are simply 1 size too small for what they are described for. It's possible these are metric, being re-sold by converting to standard dimensions. So, you can likely use the 3/4 connectors for actual 5/8 hose repair and the 5/8 connectors for 1/2in hose repairs, you may need to soak the end of the hose in boiling water to make it more flexible, but not really any chance at repairing a 3/4 with the 3/4 or a 5/8 with the 5/8 and actually getting it tight enough to stay in place. The materials seem to be decent although the clamps are definitely a low quality point of the product, just go to the hardware store and buy decent hose clamps, the ones included are literally useless. Otherwise, appears to be high quality brass, no burrs, discoloration or anything that would suggest this is low quality metal or something just colored to look like brass. But regardless, these won't work for what they are being sold for, even if they are high quality.
