Bought it for added security in my outings. Easy to stow in a pack. I plan on never needing it but I've learned that unplanned events are part of what to plan for.

I'm an avid Bikepacker and endurance rider. I received this hrs before a 170 mile ride in back country, through the night. As luck would have it, I was caught in a torrential downpour for 40 miles. Soaking wet and freezing, I had to stop and seek cover. I crawled into this E-Bivy wet and stayed very comfortable.

I was on mountain... needed an emergency bivvy. I had the original SOL and did not fit all the way inside unless I wanted to take my boots off. It was freezing rain and cold as heck. No way was I taking off my boots. Buy this XL it is much better.

Thin, see through. Already has a clean cut tear and beginning of another tear with just testing indoors a few times and wearing cotton clothing with no zippers. Plenty of condensation right away. Fairly warm with layers of clothing indoors.
