I bought these to use on our cars and in case of an emergency. They will go in our emergency/bug out kit that is in a large bin. If a storm hits or we are stranded on a car I want something to keep us going. I also have a few wool blankets in some old NBC Bags (Army reference) in each vehicle. These should be a nice assist for camping as well. They seem to be assembled well enough, I don't know how long they will last in an emergency outdoor situation with rocks and tree limbs, etc. The little case is nice, it is easy to open, refold, roll and reinsert back into the original little carry bag. They are small, lightweight and hopefully durable. I like them so far, I am going to buy a few more. I feel they are worth the money for a lightweight, warm weather protective bag. These are not for subzero temps, they are a last-ditch protection method.

I haven't actually used this yet but it is tiny, easy to carry and makes me feel a little more prepared for emergencies if needed when hiking.

El producto es de la marca SE, la cual tiene varios productos de buena calidad listados en Amazon. El producto en las fotos de Amazon pareciera que es grande, sin embargo es sumamente pequeño y cabe en la palma de tu mano, en cuanto a peso ni se diga, es nada lo cual lo hace ideal para cualquier EDC o salida a la montaña. Como plus, trae una bolsita protectora para evitar que se dañe la bolsa.La bolsa es color anaranjada al exterior lo cual la hace ideal como método de señalización aérea y aluminizada al interior lo cual permite reflejar el calor corporal y con ello reducir las perdidas de temperatura.Esta bolsa es muy delgada para reducir el peso y que por tanto sea factible llevarla en tu mochila del diario. Tomando en consideración que esta es una bolsa diseñada para emergencias, NO es recomendable usarla como sustituto de un sleeping o para uso frecuente, ya que terminara rompiéndose en el corto plazo.¿Como recomiendo usarla?1) Como fue diseñada, para una emergencia.2) Como cubierta exterior del sleeping para protegerlo de la suciedad.3) En temperaturas muy bajas y con sleepings que no están dentro del rango de confort, se puede usar como cubierta exterior del sleeping, ayudando con ello a que mejore el desempeño y comodidad de dichos sleepings.Para los puntos 2 y 3 deberás considerar que la bolsa se convertiría en desechable después de varios usos.

SMALL and useful to have in your back pack. The item is about the size of a pop can. If someone is lost during a trek in the woods you will find this item to be a life saver.

This emergency sleeping bag is the perfect size for an emergency bag, and for a care package for the homeless. It's excellent quality and reusable. It comes in a small reusable drawstring pouch, inside a box. I've added pictures.The only thing that concerns me is the product has a warning for California users which states "This product May contain substances known to the state of California to cause cancer and/or reproductive toxicity." But if this is he difference between surviving and not surviving, then it will work. Much better than some Mylar sleeping bags I have used and I was immediately impressed! Perfect for just about any emergency situation or even a spur of the moment camping trip. The compact size of about 3" in diameter and 6" in length with it's own it's stuff sack weighing a mere 5.8 oz make it ideal for a day pack or overnight bag! It can also be used as a liner for a regular sleeping bag if conditions get extremely cold. One or two should be in your vehicle emergency kit. Sometimes it's fun just to see how light you can go for an overnight-er. Very happy with this emergency sleeping bag that is also reusable if you treat it right! That gives it extra points right off! Winter is coming on and emergencies will happen! I have also made my own emergency sleeping bags in the past from the Mylar emergency blankets commonly called space blankets by putting two together with Mylar duct tape and or regular duct tape! Just can not understand why they doubled the price within 3 weeks! WILL NOT REORDER because of that! That's been happening a lot lately!NEW UPDATE: The price was more than doubled and now lowered since my original order Oct 4th. It is only the 27th. Now the price lowered again a couple of bucks so maybe I can order for the scouts now. They were more upset than I was about the price increase since their project involved in creating emergency kits for themselves, friends and family members! Regardless of what happened price wise this is a decent emergency sleeping bag and will keep you warm and not like sleeping under a hard candy wrapper! Be Prepared!
