There are many green plants on my balcony. But before, I always watered by feeling, which caused some plants to rot from too much water, and others to wither from lack of water. So I bought this soil hygrometer. It shows soil moisture in real time, which gives me a good idea of the water status of my plants and allows me to adjust my watering schedule based on the readings of my hygrometer, avoiding plant problems caused by over - or under-watering. In particular, the lighting design of this hygrometer is so practical that it can easily read data at night or in low light without additional lighting equipment. At the same time, the high-quality metal single-probe soil sensor is equipped with less damage to plant roots. All in all, this is an efficient and convenient gardening tool.

I love this device! Very accurate, easy to use, and very adorable, and a great value for the money. My plants were dry when I stuck my finger in the soil. Since I knew the delivery date, I decided to water my plants. I watered them one day before delivery date and the readings, I believe were very accurate. No longer will I have to insert my finger in the soil! According to the directions, don’t insert more than 3 inches. Based on the height of the pots I use, I marked the rod at the 3” point a permanent marker. I’m going to water again and take another reading. Since I use the pots that automatically allow the plants to soak up the water from the bottom, I’m going to wait until the day after to take another reading. This will allow me to know exactly how much water to place in the tray. Great quality, sturdy, and again, very accurate.
