They're cheap. They're relatively tough. They keep you out of the hospital. I use them over my rubber snow boots for winter bicycle riding. Hold up to pedaling and foot dragging. I've lost 1 pin, but I should buy a stack of these and keep them handy. If you have man sized feet, buy the largest ones possible.

We didn’t have snow on the ice really at all this winter, so these were a life saver. We do ice fishing rentals so we are on the ice a lot. I felt like a little mountain goat out there versus a sloppy old walrus. Thanks for saving my tailbone, folks.

I live in the "bold North" of Minnesota and keep multiple pairs of snow/ice cleats out and on several pairs of boots and shoes during the winter months. I picked up this pair to use on a pair of slip-on Merrill shoes I keep posted near the sliding glass door that leads out to a 10' X 24' composite deck so they are handy when I need to exit that door to remove any accumulated snow or make my way through that area.I wear a size 10 or 10.5 shoe/boot and the Extra Large size pair of cleats were a tight fit on these shoes. I suspect that would not fit on any of my 10.5 sized winter boots so the manufacturer should revisit their sizing for US shoes and boots.I was able to test these out over the past few weeks after the first winter storm blew through my area leaving behind a few inches of dry light powder and they performed well. I walked gingerly at first to ensure the cleats would not damage the composite deck boards and was relieved to see that there was no visible damage. I would recommend that purchasers test out on treated wood or painted surfaces to ensure the cleats do not damage that type of surface.So far, I'm pleased with this pair of cleats after their maiden voyage and provide my seal of approval giving them a strong 4-star rating, with 1 star deducted for what I view as a sizing issue.
