I usually don't leave bad reviews but when it comes to things that could potentially be life and death, I feel it's necessary. Pressing the test button makes the unit indicate that it is working correctly but 2 out of the 3 units are disfunctional and do not alert for smoke/fire. They've only have ever gone off randomly and for no apparent reason. I would not trust these especially when it comes to your life. Buy better quality detectors.

I put this on the ceiling because that's where the last one was. The detector flashes green to let you know its working. Can't see it in the day time but at night in the bedroom I can! I will be moving it to another area. Works great!

Small sleek appearance. Easy to install, test, and maintain. The flashing indicator light was a shock for my parrots. Took them a bit to adjust to it.

We have an older home and had one old fire detector. These detect fire and CO2 and are perfect to place them where need be. Light weight, easy to install and nice looking. I have mine hung on the walls but they can be mounted on the ceiling as well. Read instructions on how to place them correctly for proper detection (head space to ceiling/interfering walls/etc.). They flash green periodically, I have yet to have one run low on battery, which was my main concern. I purchased these months ago and they’re still going strong. Very happy with my purchase!

Easy to hang up, when testing alarm is loud and shrill-would definitely wake me if needed! I've had smoke detectors for years, but felt one with a c02 detector would bring me comfort. Hopefully I never have to know just how sensitive it is, but I feel better with it here!
