WRONG!!! It was so easy to install. From easy cutting and lightweight. So far the performance has been outstanding. It is keeping the temperature very low in a raised house.

Chose the 1.5 mm since there wasn't a lot of clearance near the back door. It works well at reteaning heat. Used two layers in other part of the sunroom under the carpet. Went from cold coming through enough to feel it a few feet above the floor to now the cold can only be felt went stepping on the carpet.

Put this between my subfloor and carpet in a remodel of a room with a crawl space underneath (northern climate). It was easy to install and it really helps keep the heat and/or cool in the room, depending on the season of the year.
