The only downside was trying to get the second side of the 2 sided tape started.

If you live in an older home I feel like these are great to use in the winter they do really make a difference. I use these every year!

Make sure you unfold it all the way before using it, don’t think it was only 2.5 feet not 5 😂 anyway. Great seal and easy to install…just took a while to fully shrink to the window!

When I got it ready to apply, only after applied it to one window I noticed that I didn’t unfold it completely. I had enough to recover. I no longer have to use my portable heater nor worry about it tripping a circuit breaker. Yes, I would buy it again. The thing I like the most about it is clear, I actually can see out the window unlike others I’ve tried.

What I dislike about this it was great at first then two days later it started coming apart. It was pulling away from the tape so I had to take regular tape to tape it back because it wasn’t holding good. But the shipper was great. He got it to me on time. I’m just not happy with the way it’s not holding.

This film is very easy to use. Just unroll it across the window leaving 4 or 5 inches extra on each side and cut it at that width. Tape around the window to be covered and unfold the cut off portion top to bottom. Peel the outer layer of the top of the window tape and hold the film upright and pull each side out leaving 4 or 5 inches on each side and then it press it to the tape smoothing it across the top. Straighten the film so it hangs straight down past the bottom of the window probably leaving 8 inches to 12 inches . Peel off the outer strip on the bottom and pull the film down tight over the window making sure it sticks out the same on the left and right side and then pull it tight and push it against the tape and smooth it. Pull the outside strip of tape on the left off while keeping the film from touching it until it is tight and then push it against the tape . Smooth it and repeat on the right side. Take scissors and trim off the excess . Use your hair dryer on high holding it a few inches away from the tape and remove any wrinkles while the film tightens. Very effective

I don't think this kit is worth the money or time. The tape that comes with the kit is flimsy and quickly starts to fall off the window frame. I had to fix the tape multiple times before I even tried to apply the film. The first time I tried, the tape collapsed when I added the film and began to stick all the sides together. I finally got the film on the second time and the minute I started heating it, the tape began to come up from the sides. This created pockets of air in between the window and the film. Which made it harder to tighten the remaining film because it now moved. I had to get my own tape and tape it down.I had planned to do ten windows. One window took me A WHOLE HOUR. I don't want to do ten hours of work for something this crappy.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

First time I bought this brand. It looks fine. Lots of tape. This will last me 2 or 3 winters for one window,
