How to Wear
Dog Harness Use Step 1
- Put the loop of the harness over your dog's head.
- Arrange the bottom straps between the two front legs, under the belly. Then fasten the buckles.
Dog Harness Use Step 2
- Adjust the 4 straps to fit your dog's body. And then buckle straps.
- You should be able to fit two fingers between your dog and any part of the harness.
Dog Harness Use Step 3
- Attach the safety belt to D- ring and fasten the seat belt.
Dog Harness Use Step 4
- Insert into seat belt slot or hook on the latch bar.

This is the third harness we’ve purchased for our growing pups and I could not be happier with them. They are easy to adjust, fit exactly as the size chart suggests, and are so sturdy and attractive! The seat belt is an added bonus. I highly recommend this product.

I've bought so many of these, I've lost count. When a dog outgrows it, or I get another dog, I buy a new one. I still have the older ones and after 3 or 4 years they're still in excellent condition. I use them in the car and for walks. Easy to put on, breathable and washable.

Harness is of quality material and well made. Our pup is 24lbs and we ordered a size medium. She has a 16" neck and a 24" chest measurement. The harness is adjusted all the way to the smallest adjustments but fits purfect. The Seatbelt Safety Tether appears to be the same quality as the harness. NOTE: The Tether DOES fit into the plastic seatbelt (picture 3 shown here) securely with no issues. However the tether does NOT fit into the metal seatbelt (picture 4 shown here). It does not secure itself within the clip and will not work properly. It just slides out. Make sure you know which seatbelt you have. We recommend this purchase.

I have a Pomeranian and was skeptical about purchasing a harness due to all his hair , not knowing how it would fit or work out . But I just say this is a great harness . Fit perfect and doesn’t seem to bother him. I think it comfortable enough . I got this so I can hook him up to his booster car seat and him be safe . I was afraid of using his neck collar because it would choke him if was in an accident . I am very pleased with this purchase and they have picture chart of different sized dogs that helped me pick the correct size ., I didn’t have any way to measure him so that picture sure was help.

My breeder actually recommended this product to me. My dog rides in the back seat, which I have covered with a "dog blanket" that has slits for seat belts. The Slowton dog harness comes with a short seat belt attachment that fits my car seat belt receptacles and keeps my dog from leaving the back seat (just make sure it clicks when you insert it into your car's seat belt receptacle). The harness itself is great, too. It's made of sturdy material and is adjustable for size. Size small fit my puppy when he was 20 pounds, and remarkably still fits him now, two months and an extra 15 pounds later (he now weighs 35! Puppies grow fast). I bought the "mesh" version but still worried that the harness was a bit hot for him when the temperature was in the nineties, so I didn't use it for dog walking when it was super hot out (though I still used it in my air-conditioned car). But now that it's not above 80 degrees outside, I prefer to walk him with the harness, because most vets and dog books recommend harnesses for walking. It's preferable to attaching a leash to a dog's collar, which can subject its neck to too much pressure if it ever strains at the leash, or jumps/lunges. I plan to order a size medium Slowton harness soon, to have it on hand when my pup finally outgrows size small. Last thing, you can't beat the price on this harness, as it's good quality, does what it's supposed to do, plus comes with the seatbelt attachment. I would recommend it to everyone. However-- don't leave your dog unattended when wearing it. Once, I unavoidably left my pup in the car for 15 minutes, and he apparently struggled and managed to squeeze part way out of the harness (he hates being left alone). I then realized I'd had it on him too loose. Aim to just be able to squeeze two of your fingers under it-- the same as it's advised to do with a collar. Note-- this has never happened when walking him. Even though still he often pulls and jumps on walks, his harness has stayed securely on him. Just always make sure the buckles always "click" into place when you put it on your dog. (The buckles are made of a type of sturdy plastic that seems similar to the kind used in children's car seats and strollers, and they're very easy to operate.)

After reading the reviews about stitching coming out, and for $13.99, it looked like a great value that I could easily make perfect by reinforcing some stitching. It's super light, which I like, but where the straps attach to the chest piece didn't seem that strong since the chest fabric seems a little thin. I've added some webbing to reinforce it and reinforced the stitching for the D-rings, and I think it's going to be great. I have a van and have the 2nd row seat behind the driver's seat out, and plan to clip the seat belt attachment into the 2nd row passenger seat and let our dog stand/lie on the floor behind my seat. An email arrived saying that the seat belt clip fits most but not all, but it fits my Toyota seat belt. I clipped it and yanked it hard a few times, and it held tight. I think it's going to be just what I was looking for and for a great price.Update: We did a test run yesterday and it works perfectly. I put one of his beds on the floor of the van where he needs to lie to stay within the restricted area that the harness lets him move, and he understood immediately and was very comfortable lying or sitting on his bed. He is not a puller when he's on leash, so that probably helped. He can't get thrown into or off of anything, and when I open the side door he couldn't jump out if he were to try. It's just perfect for what I needed. Also, I could be wrong, but from inspecting the stitching around the D-rings before I reinforced it, I don't think it would have come loose - maybe they've started making it stronger.

Habe es für meine Katze, ca. 4,5kg gekauft, um sie im Auto zu transportieren und ihr die gehasste Box zu ersparen.Das Geschirr passt der Katze in Gr. XXS perfekt und lässt sich auch noch etwas verstellen. Habe es ihr momentan mehrmals zum Spielen in der Wohnung angelegt, geht mittlerweile ruckzuck. Die erste Autofahrt müssen wir erst testen.
