I had an easy time installing this except for the fact that one screw came painted white so thick with paint that I could not expose the threads and had to run to the hardware store and buy another one. Unfortunately the one I bought does not have a white head and so I now have a white and silver mismatched screws on the handle. I'm going to use white out to color the screw head white.

My house came with the same door handle and lock.But the lock on my new door handle and my old door handle both the inside lock broke.So lock on the handle is not made well.But the handle itself works good.

Used part received. product was worthless and could not be used. Part arrived in a previously opened box (top was torn off). The lock piece comes with a long center piece that can be shortened to the width of your door. This piece was already broken off and basically the door lock is useless. ALSO THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A KEYED SLIDING GLASS DOOR LOCK. SURPRISE! IT IS DOES NOT COME WITH A LOCK OR KEYS.

This handle set is a perfect replacement for an offset latch application. Be sure to use the new screws that come with the kit. Three lengths of screws are included to mount your new handle which is made of metal and not vinyl or plastic.Mine fit perfect and I installed the new frame mounted latch that was included also.Great quality and a super value when needing to replace a broken or worn out patio door handle.

The replacement handles themselves are high quality and easy to install, but I encountered an issue with the mortise lock, which unfortunately did not fit my door. Despite this setback, the door handle replacements worked well and provided a smooth operation (included all screws needed and installation instructions) and helped enhance appearance for my patio door. Overall, this product is nice for those looking to replace their handles, though compatibility with the mortise lock may vary. Just make sure you measure beforehand!!
