We had purchased this product several years ago and used it a lot. Then it got lost in a move (maybe my son kept it!). Our regular comforters were too heavy this summer and I remembered how this one was lightweight in the winter but kept us warm and cozy and thought it was worth trying for the summer. Perfect. Lightweight and not too warm for the summer. And best of all, none of those feathers that keep coming out with down comforters - hooray!

Thinsulate blankets are hard to find but we have used them for over ten years years and they are perfect for year round use. Our old blanket purchase from Sleep Number was worn and needed replacement. Although not as good it is comfortable and performs welll. Time will tell if it is as durable.

Was looking for a comforter that offered warmth and was not bulky. So surprised with this one. It keeps me warm in the cold Wisconsin weather. Not bulky like other comforters. Was skeptical when I first opened this. It was flat coming out of the box but after letting it sit until full and washing before use it provides the warm and comfort of any bulky comforter without the bulkiness. Highly recommend.

I was a guest and my hosts put two of these on a queen bed. I'm told that is Scandanavian style). Really nice sleep in you don't have to fight a partner for the covers. Have done it with all my beds. These are light and well made and keep you warm also. Recommend.

Bought this to replace a similar one by Biltmore that I had used for about six years. This one is much easier to wash and dry and it is not as heavy, but provides the same amount of warmth. I turn the heat off at night and this maximum warmth and a top sheep keep me toasty warm even on nights in the 28 degree range up to 45 degree nights here in the Piedmont area of South Carolina. It is entirely too warm when the nightly lows are above 45 degrees. It is soft and silky and I love it !!! Get It.

I bought this thinking L2 would be medium .. not too hot and not too cool. I do have a warmer body temperature than many and am a bit heat sensitive but it's the hottest duvet I have ever had. Once I'm under it I immediately feel really hot (in Quebec in the winter!), like there is no breathability whatsoever in the material. Even the usual tricks of sticking a limb outside the duvet make little difference and I doubt lowering the exterior temperature would help much either. I wish I'd saved $100 and just bought one elsewhere tbh esp since I'll probably need to buy another now. For people with cooler body temperatures perhaps it's perfect

I recently asked for this blanket as a birthday present, I was looking for a good quality, warm blanket for when I was at my boyfriend's house. I'm lucky enough to be in the midst of early menopause due to a previous surgery. I really was looking for a blanket that could keep me comfortable in the colder winter months, but also something that wasn't a thousand pounds either. I tend go from frozen to surface of the sun-hot in 6.2 seconds, so this can be a very tricky thing to cater to. It seemed that unless I wanted a Sherpa or fleece blanket, I was out of luck. That was when I found/asked for this little gem. I ended up getting it for my b-day and let me tell you, I fell in love instantly! It is a warm blanket! No doubt, but it is so light and cozy that it honestly gives you the feeling of being in a cloud. It breathes enough that I cook perfectly overnight, but I don't dry out. Lol =) One downside...it only comes in white, which you could get around by dyeing I suppose. I don't really care about that, but I understand that some might. Either way, I liked it so much for my boyfriends house that I immediately came home and bought this one in queen for myself, and a twin size for my child. Hope this helps!
