This is light weight bed cover. If you want extra weight on you, you may want to pick something else or add another blanket underneath it. I really like the looks, and it was fairly inexpensive. I washed it and the shams immediately in my top loader and it held up fine.

I didn’t like the original pattern, it was too busy! Especially with the pillow cases. But luckily, it was reversible! A solid color!
