This is my first ever duvet and I am glad that I did extensive research before purchasing. There was such a a wide range in price for down comforters. I narrowed it down to a down comforter with down and duck feathers (no down fibers) and I wanted to up size for my queen bed. I was initially looking for brands with an oversized queen option, but I realized when I found this one that it was actually less expensive to get the king instead and I am so glad I did! It is giving me the oversized look I wanted. It has weight, but not loo heavy, and it is warm without being too hot. It is the hotel duvet experience I was looking for. If I decide to purchase a lighter weight option for the summer months I will definitely purchase from this brand again.

It's light weight and it fits nicely. The quality is poor and it's not thick or fluffy. It's somewhat warm, it looks nice but the sleep quality is not great, I wake up cold throughout the night.

I pulled the bedding out of the bag and it fluffed up really nice. I washed it as instructed and it fluffed up even more. Had a bit of a smell even after washing but seems to have went away. Very warm and would definitely buy again .

For the price of the blanket, it is very good quality. It’s of course not as fluffy as a more expensive blanket would be but I think it does the job amazingly. I just put it in the dryer for a bit to fluff it up. It is VERY warm, and pretty heavy which it awesome.

The directions say you can wash the comforter, which I did because the smell is pretty awful when you unpack it. I tried airing it out, febreeze, etc. but nothing got rid of the smell.I washed it in cold and air-dried it, and it shrank by4-6 inches on the width, which means my duvet is now way to big and when you use the ties inside the duvet to the comforter, the whole thing ends up cock-eyed and bunched up. Outside of the smell, it was initially good. Very disappointed.

Was really happy to find this size at an affordable price, no weird smell, comfy but makes noise - even in a duvet cover it's noticeable. Also super warm, which could be a good thing but definitely not ideal for summer in NC, even with the air set to 65° every night it was too warm

My husband is delighted - after trying numerous comforters and duvets, complaining about the faults in all of them,he actually thanked me for this one !!It is pricey, though,so 4 stars.

Very nice especially for the price. I only needed one twin insert for our king bed. I guess I would call our bed covers German style. ( we each have our own twin bedding) The quality is as good as our other feather insert. It was twice as much money. I don’t know what people call crinkly on a feather insert? But I don’t seem to notice any. I got the thinner of the two choices. ( I sleep warm .)We live in Utah and it gets very cold here in Cedar City. I am nice and warm. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have not washed it. I probably will tomorrow! By the way it doesn’t smell like some do. It has no odor to me.

It's the perfect weight! I bought the heavy but it's not even to hot in the summer! We get around -45 in the winter and 102 in the summer and this is the only blanket on our bed! It's fluffy, comfy, no feathers flying around, super sturdy! Love this comforter so much!

I am in love with my new comforter and I cannot believe I paid so little for it. Why did I wait so long? Any negative reviews about smell or sound, I guess I got lucky because I have no complaints at all about this comforter. I will say I did not clean it yet as suggested. Instead, I let it air out for a while in another room and kept fluffing it. I did not put it in the dryer. I have not washed it in the washing machine yet! I have a clean duvet cover over it and wash that. There is no smell as others have mentioned. The oversized King size is perfect the way it lays over the sides and tucks into the footboard. Easy enough to find a duvet cover to fit, just check the dimensions. Also, in the past I've been allergic to feathers but this comforter does not exacerbate my symptoms in the least. It does get hot and this is the medium. I live in Texas and I'm a hot sleeper. So, I turn my heat down during the night. My little dog cannot get out of bed in the morning. He's in a comfort coma so it seems. :)
