But hey, they are high quality. The box was kind of beat up which is fine, they come in the resealable bag. So I'll probably just keep them in the box, in the bag, in case they spill out of the box again. Not a big deal! Or I'll just get a small parts container to keep them in.My house seems to have some romex mixed in with old metal electrical boxes, so I want to put some ground in where I can. Ground pigtails make this super quick and easy. And the quick connector things instead of wire nuts!

Bought these as some of the metal boxes in my older house arent grounded. Using either a hole already in the box or drilling a new one, these screws work great and much better than the non-self tapping ones that you get at the big box store. A lot cheaper too. Hopefully I dont ever need any more than the 100 that this came with, but would definitely purchase again if needed.

These are fantastic for places like my 1960s apartment, where the metal electrical box itself is a moderately good ground (connected through the aluminum/steel armor on the AC cables + the 14/16awg aluminum bonding wire) but there's no dedicated grounding conductor.About half the time, receptacle mounting screws do an okay job grounding receptacles to the box, but many many other times there's rust or paint in the way. In this case it is nice to be able to add a redundant ground path.Sometimes, things like dimmers or motion switches require grounding wires. In this case there's no option but to add a grounding wire. It's very annoying or tiresome to try to drill and tap a hole in these old boxes to attach a grounding pigtail. Some of the holes that would be otherwise usable are filled with plaster! With this, just pop magnetic nut driver in a power tool, and start drilling away. If the box is plastered in, I have a habit of discarding the screw I used to drill the hole and picking another out of the box, so I'm more likely to have good thread connections. No really, these are a great time saver.

I drilled a hole first then used self tapping head to install them. Worked well.

Great product. Use them to install satellite internet ground equipment and they are cheap and work well. Much better than using a drill or a self tapping screw and then putting a ground screw in the hole.
