Put it in a leaking Ford 8.8 I bought that was worn along the pinion seal. Put this on and a new pinion seal and no more leaks. Very easy to install.

Pressed it on with my arbor press - it went on tight and clean. Worked great! It's either use this product or replace the yolk. The yolks I've seen are made in China so I elected for the sleeve.

I was in the process of changing my rear pinion seal on my 2001 Ford Ranger. I read on my forum that if the current pinion has a groove in it, you should sleeve it or you can expect to have another leak rather quickly. As I was changing the pinion seal I did in fact use this speedi sleeve to have a good non grooved surface on the pinion. It needed some force to be put over the pinion but just a couple steady center wacks with a softblow hammer got the job done! Make sure you hit it on center so that it doesn't get bent.So far it's working quite well! very good product! I know others make this type of product but SKF worked for my ranger!-Nigel
