Featuring a 10U slanted top and 4U front, the SKB R104 rack case features steel threaded rails, hard lid and doors, side access ports (for cable routing) and has enough space to mount the new AV-8 with the lid closed! The one piece base is roto-molded of Linear Medium Density Polyethylene (LMDPE) while the hard front and rear doors and lid are Injection molded of Rubber Modified Styrene (RMS). The back lid provides maximum access to the rack gear. Two TSA locking SKB patented trigger latches secure the lid while the flat hard top allows for stacking in transport and storage. While it might not be "flight ready" in my opinion (I don't trust baggage handlers), this is a perfect mobile DJ rig. It is lightweight, great wide handles help you stay balanced. It is strong enough to stack equipment on, loading and unloading, etc.If you think through your setup, it provides lightning fast setup/tear down. Because it is lightweight, there is no ballast so it is front-heavy. If you pay attention to how you pick it up (heavy end toward you) it is fine. If you pick it up backwards, have strong forearms! Narrow doors can be a chore.Invest in some 90-deg XLR cables so they'll clear with the rack folded down, otherwise you'll be plugging and unplugging your XLR's every gig! Also, Loctite the laptop rack screws (if you get the rack), they can vibrate out in the vehicle.4 years of weddings and parties and zero issues!

Prodotto top nel panorama dei "case".Trattasi di una azienda leader mondiale in grado di sfornare pezzi davvero unici.Massima robustezza e qualità costruttiva senza pari.Pur non avendo dimensioni trascurabili è veramente un case leggero ed indistruttibile.Ottime le aperture frontali e posteriori nonché i vani passa-cavi laterali.Impareggiabile!

diese Box hat mich überzeugt, sehr leicht und funktionell gebaut, so muss ein Case sein. Dazu gibt es nützliches Zubehör und alles ist abschließbar.In jeder Größe zu bekommen und vom Preis her auch top.

This is a great rack case. It holds my Soundcraft mixer, QSC amp, DBX feedback suppressor, and JG powerstrip in one compact easy to transport case. I would recommend tp my friends.

This seller is falsely advertising product that they don't have & blaming amazon for posting the wrong picture. I ordered this two piece SKB unit and only received the top unit. The seller claimed it did not come with the lower unit even though the picture, the description, and the sellers own invoice say otherwise. The seller did offer a refund but I was left without a case for my DJ gig and my money while the item was being returned. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.

Built well and light weight. This product will save time for setup and my back due to the much lighter weight! Plenty of room for all of the cables and the keyboard tray option with lid on!

I use this SKB for a P.A. holding my 12 channel board along with two QSC power amps. it really lightens up the loadand everything fits real well...just measure your outboard gear well before ordering! they do have various models depending on your need's.. QSC is a great product along with their famous lifetime warranty! this model is larger than it looks... really need two persons to transport..only cause it's a bit bulky!

Pros: Good solid case for the money compared to more expensive options. It is perfect for a small setup such as a Mackie 1402 10u mixer, a Furman power unit and a multi-effects unit such as mine. So there is plenty of top space for a 10u mixer and allot extra room for cables etc that stick out from the mixer without being tight. The mixer doesn't hang down to interfere with the rack units either, plenty of space there too. The top is very solid and has a hard section that hangs down and latches in front to protect the rack units.Cons: Not the most rugged and doesn't look like it will be the longest lasting case as the latches work good and are solid but look to be hard plastic rather than metal so hard road users may want to look elsewhere. It's a bit bulky considering what it can hold but I need the extra space to the rear of the mixer and on top after the cover is closed so I can leave some cables plugged in when traveling so size is worth it.Overall a great case for the money and would definitely recommend it..
