I wanted to use alpaca yarn in my stash in an airy lace design for a fabric that is warm but not too warm. However, I do not know how to knit lace. This book gradually took me through a series of methods from basic to challenging and the output was a fantastic shawl!! The online videos of the stitches was SO helpful and I continue to refer back to the site for various other projects. My confidence in lace knitting has exponentially increased and I've incorporated lace designs in my knitted projects making final items that I am proud to give as gifts. This book is a gem and highly recommended to any knitter.

Multiple not too complicated patterns that can be stand alone squares or connected to form a shawl.I’d recommend it to anyone embarking on a lace knitting journey who wants to learn the skill in a steady way.

this patterns in this book create an elegant lace sampler. I learned something new with every pattern and was able to accomplish each on my own. it is perfectly written and the support videos alone are worth the price of the book. fabulous!

Great book for learning more complex lace stitches for knitting. instructions are easy to follow and the degree of difficulty in the stitches builds. I'll be ready for lacy shawls soon!

Nice well written. Clear explanations, patterns, pictures. Easy to follow. Patern is for tall people, but can be made for shorter people. people's

I have followed lace patterns in the past but not really understood lace knitting. This course along with the tutorials have helped me to understand construction, as well as design . It is a well organized step -by- step approach to knitting lace. Well written and easy to understand. I would recommend to anyone who really wants to knit lace.
