Does not work with our fireplace! No thank you since I already spent money for nothing! I’m not happy with product or Amazon since they won’t take anything back that was opened! But that was the only way I found out it wouldn’t work!

This is a very early review, however product received very quickly, sealed, and in very good condition. I paired the remote with the fireplace insert module using this quick-start pairing summary: 1. press remote 'ON' button to activate remote/screen; 2. press fireplace module "program" button (you'll hear 3 beeps); 3. press remote 'ON' button to turn remote off and then press it back on again. Worked perfectly for mine.

In spite of my fireplace only having on/off functionality, this remote still works fine. The additional functionality is simply made moot. Range is more than reasonable, and setup was beyond simple when following instructions for your respective fireplace.

Came as described - new. No instructions included, but a quick YouTube search got me what I needed to synch the thermostat to the fireplace.

My original remote began displaying an incorrect temperature when I turned it on this season. It was like 26 degrees lower than the actual temp. It still worked, just read the wrong temp. Changed batteries in the remote and the receiver and it didn't solve the problem. I purchased this remote put in the batteries, press the program button on the receiver, pressed the button on the remote, got the appropriate beeps and everything worked perfect.
