Installed in older home. Replaced a water softener. No major issues installing. Installed with a by-pass for ease of changing filters. I like the clear filter housings so I can see the filter itself. Wife has noticed an improvement with her tea water. I did have an issue getting both the in and out ports properly sealed and not leak. I did not want to break the housing. Somewhat touchy. Currently running at 55psi water pressure. Good water flow through filters. I do like the vent on top of housing. Using CTO and KDF filters. Coffee taste good.

This filter system was very easy to install, leak-free, easy to load, and produces incredibly clean, great tasting water!

We use this system as a pre-filter to our whole house including our water softener. So far it has worked well. The small clear one is easy to do a quick cleanout by opening the valve and allowing water to run through quickly, flushing out any debris.

The filter system arrived unscathed and on time. It was far more work to remove the old system than it was to install the new. It also requires a much smaller footprint, I mounted ours to the concrete basement wall. The plumbing is straightforward as well. I took the opportunity to replace the old valves....those are required in order to change the filters. The double O-rings sealed well, and was happy with no leaks to be seen. Our well water tastes clean again, nor have seen any signs of iron, (rust) an issue in this part of New England. It has been in our home for about two months (+/-) and is filtering as well as when new with no loss of water pressure.I highly recommend this system, solid parts, oil-filled pressure gauges, and overall good quality. Clearly it is important to check if this an install that requires a plumber...the install is not difficult but mistakes can be costly.

Heavy duty construction. Gages are a nice feature for monitoring filter status. Installation was easy - no leaks. I suggest you put shutoff valves on both sides of the filters so you can shut off the water supply and prevent drain down. I also suggest to install a bypass line so you can still use water if you have to service the filter.

Had to reroute the supply line from the meter just a few inches to fit, which wasn't a big deal. The biggest complaint on here is the threads leaking. To all experiencing this, go watch a few videos on how to apply teflon + use pipe dope together. 2-3 wraps with quality teflon tape (not the one included with the filter) avoiding the first 2 threads, while also applying pipe dope over the teflon...no leak. Tried with the included teflon and sure enough, each fitting leaked 1-2 drops per minute. Paired with a sediment filter. Satisfied. What could be improved:1. The filter bracket could've extended a bit further...I had this hung and plumbed and realized it's too close to the wall to fit the key...have to use a rubber belt wrench to undo the filter housing in the future. Alternately, hang this on a strip of wood to extend it from the wall a little bit before running your lines.2. Would be nice if it included unions with solder ends instead of all threaded.

One of the canisterโs blew apart and soaked my basement, itโs less than one year old and the plastic canister cracked and itโs not cold just blew for no reason other than that I was happy with the product but now trying to find out who to contact to resolve my problem, luckily Iโm a plumber and piped my water back on or I would have no water because of this is not cool to build these out of this fragile of plastic

I usually donโt take the time to write reviews but for this, I must! At first, reading all these reviews about broken housings or leaking from inlet and outlet areas, I was skeptical about purchasing. However, I love to take risks and like to always try things out myself so I purchased the filters. Let me tell you that I had no leaks and filter housings were brand new with no defects. People with leaks are probably using the wrong type of sealant or low density Teflon and not wrapping the threads correctly. Filtration, excellent filtration as I use this for my business connected before my DI system to ease the work of my DI Filters. My water is hard and has a TDS of 387PPM and these filters lowered it to 96PPM before the DI filters. Thatโs incredible being the fact that this is not an RO and usually if filters are not RO or DI, lowering the TDS significantly is not possible. I recommend these filters as it does do some heavy work to save you money by using these as a pre filtration to any setup! Glad I purchased these!
