I really wasn't sure about these, I needed knee pads for getting up and down on the floor medicating cats. Niche, I know, but anything you do that puts you on your knees (you perv) will find you benefiting from some extra cushion. I didn't know if these would do much good compared to something with a hard shell or thicker padding but I've never been a fan of wrap around straps. So, why not?Holy crap they're little miracles. Stick right on, come right off, works just as they say and you are CUSHIONED! My first test was my bony knees on hard tile and I didn't feel ANYTHING. You can wear these under clothes and nobody would be any the wiser and you'll feel SO much better for it. I have sensory issues (hence why I don't like wrap around knee pads) and having these one was hardly a bother. Easy to rinse off for the next use and they're holding up like a dream. It may seem silly but not protecting your body is sillier. Keep those joints cushioned!

These are weird to get used to but very effective. I was comfortable crawling and kneeling on concrete, tile, and gravel using these. I love the concept, you stick em on and they're pretty low profile under your pants. They don't have anything that wraps behind your knee so for a lot of bending and crouching they are perfect. For construction work or other activities they are comfortable to just wear all day so you put em on when you're getting dressed in the morning and take em off when you get home, easy. The edges on the top wanted to come unstuck but that is to be expected on a bendy part of your leg and actually worked to my advantage. My only issue with them is that I'm hypermobile and my knee caps slide around really easily, and with the whole knee pad adhered to my skin, when I would bend my knee slightly it was pushing my kneecap off to the side and subluxating it, so I put some sticker backing paper on just the top portion so it is only about 2/3 stuck to my leg and they work perfectly. Also for sizing: I am a female, 5' 7" 125lbs with slimmer to average legs and I got a large. These cover my whole knee down to about 5" below my kneecap with the tapered lower part, but they aren't super wide. The sides of them at the knee extends to just about halfway around my leg. I think a medium would still work but I'm glad I got the large.
