I bought these protection guards for myself. I ordered the XL because it said it was listed for kids. They seem to fit me pretty well. I'm a 5'1" adult that weighs about 145. They also are pretty comfortable to use for a couple of hours. I haven't had them on for a full day.

I've used these several times over the last few weeks and they've protected me from some nasty falls (what can I say, I'm clumsy and uncoordinated). The knee pads are adjustable and fit snuggly on my leg. They fit like a sleeve, so even when you don't tighten them with the strap, they still stay on your leg. Same for the elbow pads. They slide on like a protective sleeve and then you use the straps to tighten them.They do get quite hot. I noticed I become much more sweaty when I use these but oh well. Safety first.Lastly, the hand pads are great but it impedes the use of cell phones. I can only wear one if I need to navigate or adjust my music.

I’m about 5’8, around 160 lbs, probably average build. I ordered x-large and the pads are a little snug feeling to me, so if you happen to be on the larger size, you might want to consider something else. Otherwise, they seem to offer protection for simple skating. I’m not sure how well they’d hold up in a major crash (nor do I plan to find out) if you’re into extreme skating, but they should work for casual/average skating.

I mostly needed these for the knee pads as I am currently engaged in some home repairs, and being 61 and not... svelte... I wanted to give my knees a little respite from the pain of kneeling on a hardwood floor. To my pleasant surprise the kneepads are actually quite effective and make not just the kneeling, but also the standing up process a whole lot easier.Still, I am reviewing the whole ensemble. The wrist guards are a good fit and will provide your wrist some protection in a construction setting. They really don't impede hand movement a great deal more than necessary, and don't cut into the skin at any point.The elbow pads are similarly comfortable and have real potential for future home repair work outside. The cushioning inside the elbow should take most shock scenarios away from your elbow which is the goal.The knee pads are well constructed. A little on the snug side even when the upper and lower straps are not engaged, but not to the point of being too noticeable. As I said, being a little larger is size and in my early 60s I didn't expect these to help as much as they do.This is a good set that should provide you decent protection and last a long time due to solid construction. Recommended.

I recently bought a pair of rollerblades to remind myself of the good things in life from my childhood and, to get some extra outdoor exercise. I haven’t been rollerblading for years, and while I know I’ll pick it up pretty quickly just like bike riding, but this is slightly more challenging to me than riding bikes. Plus, since I’ve fallen off the ground many times while rollerblading when I was a little girl, I figure I can use some protection while getting reacquainted with rollerblading just in case, and is the reason for my getting these “Adult & Kids Protective Gear Set for Men, Women Youth Knee Pads, Elbow Pads & Wrist Guards 3 in 1 for Skateboarding Multi-Sports Protective Gear,” by METROLLER. These work amazing. I love how it came with wrist splints as our baby is learning how to skate. She has fallen so many times and they still look new and she has not broken anything. They fit snug as you want or as loose as you want.
