About this item

  • Multifunctional Design: This cat slow food bowl consists of two parts. The bottom yoga pot forms an elevated design; the slow food bowl above has buckles that can adjust the angle. Reduces stress on the cat's neck, back and digestive system when eating
  • Made of High Quality Silicone: Made of safe silicone, which is heat-resistant, tear-resistant and bite-resistant. Safe, odorless and durable, perfect for holding any type of dry, wet or fresh food
  • Slow Down the Eating Speed: The slow feeder cat bowl adopts a raised fish-shaped design, which can effectively slow down the eating speed of cats or small dogs and prevent pets from eating too fast and causing health problems
  • Anti-slip Base: The silicone cat bowl has an effective anti-slip base. Place the slow food bowl on a smooth floor and press the bottom to prevent it from moving on the feeding mat or floor, reducing the chance of tipping over during feeding
  • Easy to Clean: This slow feeder has a simple and elegant design, easy to clean, and can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. The smooth surface prevents the accumulation of grease and food particles, leaving no small gaps and nooks

We've been looking for a slow feeder bowl for our kitty and this one fit the bill. She's not a chaos eater, so we don't really have a use for the suction cup on the bottom of the stand, but she uses her jaw as a scoop for dry food and doesn't chew which leads to her getting sick and leaving presents for us, usually at the foot of the bed or on the bathmat outside the shower. This bowl stops her from doing the scoop thing and she has to eat around the little fish shaped bumps in the bowl and I've noticed her actually chewing her kibble since we've started using this bowl.It is really easy to clean even when using wet food, and the suction cup on the bottom holds fast to our counter if you go to pick it up. It does slide easily though, so if your cat tends to push their bowl around, that may be a problem for you.The little notches on the bottom of the bowl basically click into place and hold the bowl pretty steady at whatever angle you have it set for, we keep it slightly raised for dry food, and flat for wet, but I've noticed that with the angled settings, the bowl will tilt from side to side if she gets vigorous enough with it. But all in all, as long as you spread the food out around the dish and don't just put it only in the middle, it works really well.Oh, and we get the added bonus of her being super pitiful and biting the fish and licking them when she's begging for early dinner, haha.

I got this soft silicone slow feeder because my chunky cat inhales his food when he eats. He had been using a ceramic slow feeder similar to this design, but would hit his teeth against the hard fish obstacles so hard that it was starting to worry me. I do like the softer material of this bowl, but it really does not work like his ceramic slow feeder bowl. I think this bowl is too deep, so it's hard for dry food to fall around the little fish obstacles. Everything just kind of falls in the center, which doesn't stop my cat from eating everything at the speed of light. He's showing signs of indigestion since using it, so I won't be continuing to use (not throwing up his feeds, but making reflux noises and passing gas which is completely new for him, im thinking it's from gulping air when he eats his kibble).

Amazingly the cat likes it .I like you can tilt dish different ways.Cat only threw up once since using.I think the openings are to far apart, as a lot lays in the center thus the catgobbled that down fast If that were changed it would beperfect! Cute green color

I first tested this with treats for my tiny cat who can wolf down a literal pile in no time flat and it took her probably three times as long.It was a little tougher to try out with my fat cat who tends to eat too quickly since she decided to just go to one of the other bowls that was easier. Obviously, this would be most efficient if we had one for each of our three cats, which is likely the plan going forward.Having multiple bowls to switch out and clean is probably the best bet, since this holds about half of the food we give them each morning. The bowl does need the cylinder piece to be able to adjust the angle (which a nice bonus in function) and is completely unstable without it/another bowl underneath.

There is a suction cup on the bottom of the bowl, and there might as well not be one at all. My cat tipped it over multiple times , removed the bowl from the stand. It was a mess, this product may do well will older, calmer cats. The entire reason I got my cat a “slow feeder” was so she wouldn’t rush to eat her food and this was not sturdy enough to handle my cat.

Bought three just to see. Will keep all. They slowed the cats down and probably add just a little fun to their routine. The slowing down is important to me because it could help them upchuck a lot less (I'm so tired of cleaning up cat vomit). I love the tilt - the bowls sit on top of the raised area VERY nicely and grip it well. I love how you can adjust the tilt to your preference. I love that these are dishwasher safe. This is a great product for us and our three furbabies.
