I live in a 1960's house. The old, cast iron tub has long lost the ability to close the drain with the knob. I've bought numerous plugs for this tub and most you have to precisely place on the hole and cover with a suction cup non-skid mat. This thing is super good quality. Because of the various sizes of plugging ability built in, it plugs like a champ. Worth the money and works awesome!

The only tub stopper you’ll ever need again. Creates a flushed seal in the tub so your water will not leak out. Small so it doesn’t take up space in your shower. Seems pretty good quality so far.

This is a useful product because one plug fits many drain sizes. It doesn't leak when it is being used. It stays clean with just a periodic rinse off & doesn't come dislodged when in use but is also with the nice handle easy to remove.The previous old fashioned plug i had used a small ring to remove it. This broke eventually because the plastic circle that held the ring broke. Using the plug without an easy way to remove it was a struggle. In contrast with the sturdy handle & graduated rings, this plug stays in place & is easy to remove.I think because of ease of use this product is worth the extra money. The cheaper plugs have to be replaced periodically and are more annoying to use.
