I went to the local Lowes and could not find this product. I searched Amazon and there it was. Fit perfectly and was an excelling replacement for the one that wore out

I’ve had this Lasco Tub stopper 1 day and I’m happy that it works in our homes bathtub. Our home was built in 1992 if that helps you any. This is the push to seal and tap again to drain bathtub water type.

Replaced my plastic stop and works fine. I do however prefer the plastic stops but they are not easy to find. The plastic stops are easier on your drain threads, imo.🤷🏻‍♂️

I replaced to last one I had with this one!! Same as the original tub came with and easy to use. Easy to push down and easy to pop up.

I bought a home with an old Jacuzzi tub with a drain drip that no longer worked because the rubber had dry rotted. My tub drain and all the fixtures are antique brass. All I could find to replace it were chrome finishes. I purchased this and it worked perfectly as a replacement, except the chrome. Easy fix… you can twist off the metal piece that holds the rubber in place and remove the runner. I took the rubber from this new one, put it on my original antique brass stopper and were in business without the odd mismatch in finish.

Fit perfectly and was slightly higher than the original one which allowed for better drainage. It seals the drain when depressed with no problem at all.

Per the title, this is an aftermarket style of the original toe-touch Rapid-Fit tub stopper. Original came with the house and it served a moderately used bathtub for two decades before deciding it was time to break.Delivery was quick, packaging was spartan, but part came quickly and undamaged… no complaints!Thing is, this generic aftermarket is a bit lighter in construction, and although the original was plated plastic, the plastic on this one seems thinner.… so I’m guessing I won’t get 20 plus years out of it, but we’ll see.I’ll also check it tonight for leakage, but mechanically it works the same as the old one.For replacement, take what I say with a grain of salt… I’m just a home owner, not a professional, but Important part for consumers: It’s a simple twist out part… unthreads out (normally threaded, btw…) and threads back in.When ordering, do some research. There are two thread diameters: 3/8… and 5/16: know which one you’re buying. This was the larger diameter sized model, 3/8. Also know that there’s also two different lengths: this one being 2” and a shorter one, like 1 3/4” long, I think. Again, mine was 2”.So, this part, before checking leak worthiness, fits the bill and is a direct replacement working aftermarket part. Also note, visible dome part’s edge is curved. There may be a flat edged model out there that resembles, in shape, more nickel coin like, vs a button or mushroom style? This product is also shiny, not satin. For what it’s worth.Hope this review has helped.

Needed to replace a broken tub plug that hubby broke, trying to get it to pop back up, so we needed this for aesthetics, if nothing else. This fit perfectly, and pushes down easily to stop the water going down the drain. That said, I thought it was supposed to just be a second push down to have it pop back up. It's not.I tried and tried, but it wouldn't pop back up. I must be missing something, because I had to turn it a quarter turn back out, then try again, to get it to release the stopper.Maybe I tightened it too much, but I only did it finger tight. No tools involved, and a 70 yr old woman just isn't likely to have that much torque in her arthritic hands to overtighten this sufficient to stop it working.I hardly ever use that tub, and never plugged it before, but we needed this for aesthetics, if nothing else. It's there, it works, and now I know to unscrew it a bit, to get it back up. Not worth returning, but if you use it all the time, might be worth considering that, unless you know something I don't know about how to make it pop back up. Unscrewing it part way seems unlikely to be a good solution, for a well used tub.
