We ended up not needing these but it's a great little set of very sturdy and varied instruments, so we are keeping them for future use. This assortment should cover just about any application need.

I've used this a few times now. The brushes work well to spread the glue so I don't have to worry about getting glue on my project after using my finger to spread it. The tray is good for setting the brushes on, and also for mixing up sawdust and glue to fill small voids that invariably appear in projects. And everything cleans easily. (I haven't used the black spreader yet.)

Wood glue sticks to everything, except silicone. Once dry, you can get the glue off the entire set easily. The brushes work well and the tray is perfect for keeping your brush out of the sawdust. If you use wood glue on an regular basis (or, not), this kit is well worth the $$.

I've been spreading glue with just my finger or a q-tip if I needed to get into a tight spot. These brushes make for a nice upgrade at a fair price. I've only used the larger brush once so far for some edge gluing and it worked well, though the bristles felt like they were dragging a bit more than I expected. A number of the bristles on the larger brush do have some extra material around them making them a little larger / flatter than some of the other bristles. I don't know if this is affecting the use any (doesn't seem to) but this might be why it feels like the brush is dragging a bit. The bristles on the smaller brush and large comb brush look like there were formed / cut better with less excess material. The size and feel of the handles is nice - for my average size man hands it's not too big, not too small, and is easy to use (and flip around to the other side) one handed. The handles are a harder plastic but have a slightly soft feel to the finish, skin doesn't stick / drag on it like it sometimes can with other kinds of plastics (though I have only used the brush on a cooler day so hot days and sweaty hands might make a difference). And cleanup is pretty easy, I didn't wait for the glue to dry to try peeling it off but just rinsed everything off with a little water and wiped it clean with a paper towel.

I will try to remember to come back and give it a more honest rating after it's been used a few times for various applications. A nice set of tools for spreading glue. I'll use it to spread wood glue on boards that will be clamped together for certain projects. The larger spreader will save time by filling in the larger pieces. The smaller ones look as though they will do a good job of sealing thinner boards edges together when making things like cutting boards or turning buwls on a lathe.

In all industries that involve using brushes with glue. I think I can say that this can save your company or pockets a lot of money and hassle. I have a wood working shop, and originally we used horse hair brushes aka the type that when used you throw away. Unlike these which I have used titebond three pa glue, and after a glue up just let it dry or clean it but honestly if your like me you’ll let them dry just so you can peel the glue out.And yes I know that’s weirdIt’s a good value for price, though if they could lower it even more then great

I've been doing woodworking for years and always thought my glueup technique was adequate. Then I received this set. Wow! The application process is great, the clean-up is easy and I can now throw out my old squeeze glue bottle.I highly recommend this set for your woodshop!

I was honestly very surprised how well these worked, and how easy they were to clean up. They made cleaning up (usually a very messy and painstaking process) very easy. I have used them several times now, with not just glue, and they have worked superbly each time. I am very happy, and would definitely recommend. As a matter of fact, I was so happy with these, I even ordered some smaller ones they have for "finer" work, and I am very happy with those ones as well.

I wasn't expecting the brushes to be much help but hey turned out towork very well. Glue doesn't stick to anything but that said, I recommend washing them off instead of waiting for the glue to dry. The problem with the tray is that while glue doen't stick to it, only large dry puddles of glue peel off easily. If you have what amounts a lot of small droplets, which is what you will have if you squirt o puddle of glue in the tray to dip the brush in, if you use most of the glue. It separates into droplets in small quantities. Peeling these small dry droplets out is more work than you would think. Easier to just wash the tray before the glue dries. The brushes hold glue pretty well and do a good job of evenly spreading it. Very impressive control as well. I wouldn't mind having a smaller one than the 1/2 inch size. This one works well on 3/4 inch surfaces but not for frame and panel stuff like rail and stile cabinet doors.
